Hi guys,
OK, OK, I know this is not a flight's trip report but I wanted to share some pics with you I took in and around hangar 5 at Vienna's Schwechat Airport. My company received the latest addition to our fleet recently and as I was the proud owner of a new airport ID card, I decided to make a short trip to the airside and get some shots of her.
And here she is:
Dassault Falcon 900EX VP-BFV
This is the second VP-registered aircraft to be based in Austria. And... this plane is not in the Airliners.net database yet!
The small but complete cockpit, including auto throttle and ARINC-link
I don't often boast about myself, but these two pics are among the best I have ever taken.
I love the light on the fuselage
Two of the three engines
Some more pics taken while in the hangar and on the apron:
Another Falcon 900, this one owned by Comtel Air
A Falcon 2000EX with the naughty registration OE-HOT
Bombardier Challenger 300 OE-HRR owned by Tupack Verpackungen (a packaging company)
My company has two Challenger 300s, OE-HNL and OE-HPZ.
One of these beauties could be the next aircraft to join our fleet...
Outside, JetAlliance's Legacy 600 OE-IRK is being towed to its stand on the apron
And last but not least, a group foto of some 'bizzers'

Hi DavecFlyer and B747forever, thanks for your comments. If you are interested in seeing more pics of the Falcon and other bizzjets, have a look at the photo gallery on my own website. Don't know if I am allowed to put a link here so just drop me a PM if you want.

Hi Levent,
Is there anywhere landside at VIE where you can see the Biz ramp to get regs & take photos? Do the airport authorities still do the airside tours? VP-BFV sure looks a nice aircraft, have you any photos of the interior i.e cabin rather than cockpit?

Hi Dave, have a look on my photo gallery (accessible via the link in my profile) where I have placed several pictures of this aircraft's cabin.
If you go to the General Aviation terminal in VIE, you can see the 'bizzers-ramp' from landside as well and it is possible to take pictures.
I am not sure about the airport tours, maybe you can find something on the airport website?
