BUD-ATH

Malev 737-400
Planned departure 13:00.
Actual departure 13:30.

The plane got back from its flight to Prague on time so the reason for the delayed departure was unknown.
The boarding was quite fast and smooth. The plane was clean and organized with enough legroom. The flight was almost full with mostly Hungarians and Greeks. I heard some German too.
Because of the strong wind the takeoff was very bumpy, but the pilot warned us well ahead.
After reaching cruising altitude the flight was smooth. The food was okay and the chocolate was excellent.
FA's were friendly and they even gave my daughter an inflatable Malev plane. The landing was smooth.
Athen's new airport is very nice but was disorganized when we arrived. We parked next to a CSA 737 aircraft.

ATH-BUD

Malev 737-400
Planned departure 16:40.
Actual departure 17:15.

The boarding was quite fast and smooth also. The plane was clean again. The flight was full with mostly Hungarians and Greeks. The tript back was uneventful and had the same service as 10 days before.
This time my daughter got a Malev puzzle.
Upon arrival we parked at Terminal 2A which is exclusively Malev's.

Overall I was quite satisfied with Malev's performance.
I look forward to another Malev flight.  Smile
