Hi all, i flew to YUL some weeks ago. here is my report.

II > Pre-Flight:

a) Before Airport:

The flight was scheduled at 6:55 pm. I left hotel at 3 pm... just in case, and I was right, it took me more than 2 hours to reach CDG... (cab).

b) At Airport:
I don’t need to drag on, we all know that CDG is a nightmare... mess.

Beside, the check in was so long, no line, but too long for C class. ( 25 min )... Computer issue I've been told...



I had some time to kill, I went to the AF lounge. The lounge is nothing special, So I settled down on a computer in order to check my mails and I ate some snacks. Free wireless internet was not available, and several computer terminals were also out of order..




Upon boarding, A steward greeted me and walked me to my seat, it was a nice touch... maybe because I was the first one to board..


III> In-Flight:

a) The flight was on time, so we left a 7 pm, minutes later FA's were offering drinks and snacks..



then I had 2 tiny slices of smoked salmon... (stingy AF).



then I had a very good veal, with mushrooms and potatoes. it was good.

prior arrival a very light meal was served.. I did not even take a pic.

b) Aircraft + Seats and IFE:

The plane was neat, and my seat was a toboggan, it's always very hard to sleep on. IFE was working for once but movies on board were all seen on previous flight.

V> Impressions + Scores:

The crew were very nice, but paying 4500 E R/T its very expensive.. for that, it took us 7;15 min to reach YUL. and on the way back it took us 5;40 h... I will make another report for that one.

Check In: 5 (Friendly but it was too long)
Lounge: 6 ( I expect more from AF)
Boarding: 10( no line and a nice touch from the FA)
Seat: 6.5 (a bit wider could be nice, and please a wanna a bed not a lie-flat)
Crew: 9 (always looking after you)
Meal: 8 (good.)
Entertainment: 5 (working for once but movies seen one month ago).
