Day Trip To Mount Rushmore (Pics/Vids)

While looking at the flights on Wednesday and having them open to RAP my family and I decided to take a day trip up to Mt. Rushmore. The day all started by waking up a 0600 and getting ready to leave for DEN at 0645. We then went out to DEN on a busy day to go to RAP we got to gate B88 20 minutes before departure and after sitting on the plane for 20 minutes because the APU was not working and starting the engines at the gate we were off. The taxi was about 5 minutes to 34R and then a 45 second take off roll we were on the way to RAP.

We then went to get some lunch and took a drive and headed back to the airport

After check in we then went to the gate and found out that our plane had to return to the gate in DEN for a medical emergerncy so we waited for an hour and I put on my ipod and just waited since there is nothing in RAP. The Plane then quickly came to the gate after it landed and it was turned in about 15 minutes

RAP is a nice airport, but if you are delayed it is bad since all that past security is a snack bar but from time at the airport to the gate was less than 15 min
