July 23, 2008 : My last day in Singapore.
Departure via Singapore Changi Airport
Changi Airport is maybe, the best airport in the world, so clean, so beautiful !
There is even a swimming pool !
Next, I check-in at AF Counter
Just before boarding :
Boarding in Boeing 777-300ER
My seat was comfortable
Of course, plenty of room for legs!
Before takeoff, the choice between a glass of champagne or orange juice and a hot towel we have been offered.
The Menu:
The meal was delicious and was composed of:
Hors d'Oeuvre : I have taken the scallops served over sweet potato ravioli with dill
Main Courses: Roasted salmon with balsamic vinegar sauce accompagnied by fried tomato, mashed potatoes with cheese and arugala. Very long title but so delicious!
The Special Selection of Cheese was composed by Roquefort Cheese, Brie and Camembert Cheese.
For the desserts, I opted for sorbets and petits fours.
The entertainment system Air France was particularly pleasing, with a wide range of choice between music, movies, games or other information…
Sunrise on board:
Again, I took a Haagen-Dazs ice-cream (Haagen-Dazs makes the best ice-cream in the world ! ) :
View of bed position :
The positioning system of headquarters:
PS : Sorry for rotation !
The hot towel service was very pleasant for the wake up, which was followed by a hearty breakfast and again delicious!
The breakfast consisted of a hot dish of your choice, I opted for the fruit pancakes, really delicious!
Fresh bakery pastries, a fruit salad, bread and jam
In the toilet, a tonic lotion and a other lotion were made available:
A view from the passenger seat located to my left:
A view from the "GeoVision" Channel
Arriving in Paris, airport Roissy Charles de Gaulle:
Nobody in the airport at 6 a.m!
And Back to Nantes Atlantique…
Waiting Room for the flight:
Our A320 :
The 56's Gate:
Few views from my seat:
From the plane, we can see:
Disneyland Paris:
& Orly Airport:
For the snack, I opted for a hot chocolate & cookies
Taxing:
Arrival and final pics !

You were a bit stingy with words this time, but I still enjoyed looking at the (mostly well-selected) pics. The food looks absolutely delicious, especially the Hors d'Oeuvre, the dessert and the breakfast.

Hi OneWay,
Thanks for posting this report. Very nice pictures indeed! .. And yes, the food looked so delicious, with a very stylish presentation that i have come to really like from the reports i see on AF.
You sat in a middle seat in Business, right? How did that feel? Did it feel cramped because you were in between two people or did it not make any difference?
Thanks again for sharing this with us!
Regards,
Roni

So true! You know why don't you? It's because it's the least aerated ice cream around and it's ingredients list is probably the shortest of any product you can buy (it's very all natural).
NICE TR! Love the new AF carpet they use in their AC.

Yes, I sat in a middle seat and no problem ! But I think it's better to take a seat near the aisle !

Nice report Florian!
It is actually a bit unusual to see a TR from the rather infamous middle seat in J class on the B777. The AF J seat did indeed look very comfortable. How did it feel like to "be stucked" in the middle seat?
The food in AF J have got a bad reoutation on the forum for some weird reason. But your report was a big exeption, the food looked very nice.
I have flown AF short/medium haul many times and i have always had a great experience, except for one time. So i would like to try the on long haul some day.
If i may ask you one question please: In your previous report you were seated in Y, how comes that you flew J this time? Did you get upgraded, or was the return ticked purchased as J?
Thanks for sharing and i hope to see more reports from you!
I won't stop complaining until SAS reintroduces free service in Economy Class!

Nice report and pictures, thanks Oneway.
Food offerings look much better than some other AF J meals we have seen in the recent past, though I wish they would serve the cheese dish last rather than have it on the side.
Not keen on the 2-3-2 layout in J, really would not want to be stuck in the middle seat at all.
Not keen on all that space in front of the seat/around the PTV, whilst great to have storage space I'm not keen on the visuals.
