My first post here. I've been reading Airliners.net for years. I love aviation. I was at SFO to see the A380 land in November 2007, and also to see the Emirates A380 land in August. I finally decided to become a member to share pics of my trip of SFO to LAX. There are 42 pics total which I combined in pairs to reduce it to 21 pics. Click each pic to see a 900 pixel wide image.

I've been using the Microsoft flight simulator game for 20 years and currently I still use fs9 with photographic scenery. I have the SFO to LAX flight programmed into my computer and on October 18 I decided to fly the route on Virgin America in First Class seat 2A. I bought the tickets just a few days before the trip when I knew there would be no fog over SFO which happens a lot. Hate to buy a ticket only to have SFO fogged in so don't get to see anything. So here are the pics which include the descriptions of the flight. I on purpose took pics to show part of the aircraft window so it looks like I'm in an aircraft. Over the past 30 years I've driven to LA using HWY 5 or WHY 101, so it was really great to recognize a lot of landmarks visible from the aircraft. First time I flew on a A320 and it was really quiet at cruise. I could barely hear the engines. I also took Virgin America back from LAX to SFO and also took lots of pics on that flight.
