Hey! i was just browsing through youtube and i found this video that i thought i might just have to share with everybody. Its from the old TV show "Airport". An agent for Aeroflot travels on the company's passenger aircraft to write a "trip report" so he can report back to Moscow about the onboard service!

He went into YCL and a woman was having a cigarette in her seat?! I never thought that was possible in today's environment! Perhaps this program was more than a few years ago because a) SU no longer flies the 777 and b) there was a partial shot of a BA747-200 as the plane took off from Heathrow.
Welcome to my starry one world alliance, a team in the sky!

Having watched this on TV a long time ago - i can tell you it was just that - a LONG time ago. Ask a Brit who Jeremy Spake is and they will all remember him fondly

You've got to "love" the idiot that boards completely the wrong aircraft and doesn't notice until well after pushback.
Quoting Delboy (Reply 4): Ancient tv, Jeremy hasn't worked for Aeroflot (or indeed, in the airline industry) for at least 4-5 years. last I saw of him, he was a pantomime dame.
Errr, he currently works for BA as frontline staff at T5. He worked at Virgin before that.

Why is it all English gay men break out into a Scottish voice when they really camp it up? Could 'Morning Captain Duff" have anything to do about it?
He isn't gay either! Just, very..camp!

Not sure that I remember him fondly, but he was quite entertaining!

True, isn't he married with kids?? Doesn't necessarily mean that he isn't gay, but then that's his business, not mine! But as Marge Simpson would say, he's very "festive"!!
