Iran Air Experiences

As an American I like to travel on the airline(s) of the country that I visit. Please share any of your experiences with IRAN AIR. I may be traveling on them soon to visit a friends family in Iran.

My best friend is Iranian-american and she's flown with the flag carrier of Iran as well as Iran Asseman Airlines to Tehran alot of times. On the two hour flight from Dubai to Tehran she's always gotten a full meal service, other than that the airline is not great with old aircraft and not so kind F/A's.

My cousin has experienced Iran Air and he said that they were quite good. The airfares on domestic iranian flights are really cheap and the meal and drink service is rather good.
