I would like thank you for the comments after my first trip report (CDG MAD also with Swiss)
An other trip report to Istanbul, also with the best european airlines !
Travel in March 2007, a 4 day trip for my first travel to Turkey.
Departure at 7.30 AM, no Metro/RER to the Airport, but the night bus, name "Noctilien".
Check in at T2B, breakfast at the Swiss lounge before boarding.
Take off on time at RWY 26L to the west, 180° left turn near La Defense, view over Le Bourget Airport, old Paris Airport with now only general aviation trafic and a nice musee (with 2 concorde)
And over CDG Airport
Swiss Business breakfast. Very good, specially The Toni Yogourt !!!
Descent over Basle, then direction Zurich
Very nice approch to Zurich, RWY in use was the 34, from the south and the Gold Coast. Fly over the Albis Mountain, crossing the Zurich lake near Wädenswil...

A very energetic brake, RWY 34 exit near the terminal E... Swiss/Star Alliance long haul terminal, but also the Air Berlin hub
B757 of Belair with the Air berlin colors and name. This charter compagny was the proprety of the supermarket brand Migros, and has been sold to Air Berlin. European flight are now operated for Air Berlin, the holidays flight to Egypt are still operated with Belair flight number. The B767 of Belair has also Air Berlin colors, but with Belair name.
The second B757 of Belair, near old colors Air Berlin aircrafts, A332/343 of Swiss and and B77W of Singapore. Singapore is now operating 2 daily flights to Singapore. Why not soon an A380 in ZRH to SIN ??

Saab 2000 of Darwin to Lugano on behalf of Swiss. It seems to be the HB IZH "Ticino"... ZH is the name of the region Zurich, Ticino the italian name of the Lugano Region !!

Terminal A, with Star Alliance european flights. Here a Austrian F70 to Vienna. In June 08, some OS flight were operated with B767 !!
Parking near the closed terminal B with the observation terrace, a Thai A346 near a El Al B737. Probably a high securised terrace !!

A must to do in IST : a bosphorus cruise !! I don't know why... but it's magic !!
After 4 days in IST, a litle short, time is now for the return flight to Paris !
I was suprised with the airport safety contols, the "safety interrogations" before check in, like for a flight to the USA ! But friendly staff and police officers.

Coffe and swiss chocolate ! I love when the Flight attendants look after the presentation, and not only give the coffee

Fly over Serbia, Slovenia, Austrian near Graz and Innsbruck, before to land in ZRH
Only 4 PAX in Swiss Business, but 6 rows on this A321.
After a short connection, boarding in an other A321 to Paris, with a good load factor in Swiss Business for this last flight of the day. Cold meal with specialitys of the grisons region, taste very well !
Thank you for reading my second trip report. It was a very pleasant journey to Turkey and a perfect flight ! Thank you for your comments and questions.

Hey another great LX report! The Business breakfast still doesn't convince me, still room for improvement there. Other than that the J service looked great again.

yes, I have !! I love Switzerland ! For me Switzerland is synonym with quality, perfection... I find this when I'm flying swiss !

Yes, something special athomsphere... very nice ! I've learn the bosphorus in the scool books, for me it's something mytic, this border between europe and asia !

The breakfast was good for me. Perhaps with ham or salmon, or a small salad could be nice ! it's just an idea !!

I've lived in BSL region, in the french side, during 6 years, and was very often in Switzerland for daytrip. Perhaps it's the reason !! And when you travel by train, you stopped in very small town, also with IC !!
