Background: I do not do very much flying except to attend conventions. I am what you call a fan of Cartoon Animals part of the subculture called Furries. I am not going to get into correcting any misconceptions here. I originally was planning to go to a small convention in Orlando and do a little Disney World, but a layoff got in the way. I heard about a furry convention in Dallas where the same on-lines friends would be there. I never had a vacation in two years so I decide to go down to San Antonio in true A.net fashion, I live there as a little boy at Fort Sam Houston and do not remembered doing the tourist thing. I chose Frontier because of the extra pitch and in my 50 or so flights in my life, I never flown on an Airbus Jet. I got a good deal on Travelocity for the DFW-SAT flight and hotel room. On all Frontier flights I chose the Classic Fare.

Please forgive me not posting the usual info on departures and arrivals, being 6’4” and 390lbs I barely fit in a economy seat and pretty much immobilized during the trip.

PDXDEN FEB 19 2009
Flight: F9 0792
Depart 10:58AM
Arrival: 20:20PM
Seat 20F

I left for PDX around 7:00AM, check in and grabbed bite to eat. TSA screening was not a problem except I had my bag, computer and art supplies with me. The plane was full and I happen to get sounded by the family from heck. The kid in back keep kicking my seat and the mother often lack modesty and discretion just flips out her breast and feed the baby in open at lest she did not change the baby in the seat. I admit get snooty in the end when she got all wound up I my trying to take landing pictures. Oh well. I did give the evil eye. The seat was thigh and The Pitch was manageable, at least I did not spillover into the other seat.

DENDFW FEB 19 2008
Flight: F9 0138
Depart: 01:54PM
Arrival: 05:55PM

Things got better; the only bit of drama was I left my art supplies on the PDX-DEN Flight I ran back to retrieve them and ran to my connection. There must have been a no-show so the stewardess switched me to the window seat on the last row. The middle seat was empty. The rest of the trip was a non event.

Fellow Furries and fursuiters (with my travel Hello Kitty)

Aft three days of fun and frivolity It was time to move on.

DFW- SAT FEB 23 2009
AA Flight 1033
Equipment Mad Dog-80
Seat 24A
Depart: 11:35am
Arrival: 12:40am

Sorry I do not have the model , I was excited enough to be flying I forgot all that. My big mistake was going for the two seat row tighter pitch; the plane was full which mad not a comfortable ride but I can tolerated it for an hour.

Arrive: 11:25am

DFWDEN
Flight: F9 0135
Depart: 01:54pm

DENPDX
Flight: F9 0799
Depart: 05:55pm
Arrive: 07:45pm

All F9 flight we on an Airbus 319.
The flights were uneventful, I mange to have nobody in the middle seat on all three flights. Unfortunately I forgot the seat number, all F9 flight I had the window seat. There were a few things I noted, I never realized the size of DFW, and one could fit two PDX with parking into on DFW. I purposely wanted a long layover in Denver to stretch my legs and get some lunch. Before boarding the plane for the flight back to PDX. I just sat and enjoyed ever minute of the ride back home.
