The LOUNGE:
First of all I was welcome by a LA when I step out of the plane with a sign LA PREMIERE with name on it. I then followed her to the lounge where I had a great meal...
Conclusion :
Where to start ? Almost everything went wrong... but thankfully I had good crew.
I wonder how damn people like me are willing to spend money to get such a miserable experience !
Avoid AF if possible !
The outbound is coming pretty soon.. and guess what ? It was also terrible...

How on earth can you say almost everything went wrong? The only thing that went wrong according to your description was that the seats were broken. That is bad, but not almost everything.
Besides that, you disliked the food, but that may be because did not meet your special taste. I cannot see that something obviously went wrong with the food.

Aww you poor thing! Was flying Intl. First Class too much to handle?
But seriously, was the food that bad? It looked good. Also, the seat issue is terrible, but at least you had a solution to your problem.

I can think that when you pay several thousands of EUR for a F flight that you want everything to be fine or even perfect...
Broken seats in F isn't a good way to start... Maybe one seat but all?
And it's not because food "looks" good in a picture that it actually tasts good. Even on a classy restaurant it wouldn't be the first time that a dish tasted "bad" although nicely presented...

Absolutely! A broken seat may make you very unhappy, a displeasent meal may make you very unhappy.
But he said that almost everything went wrong, and I was curious what else went wrong besides the seat and the food.

Well, 3/4 First Class seats not fully functioning is pretty bad. Just curious as to what would have happened if there was even one more passenger on board. Also, the IFE was inop in almost all the seats.

Well, he did acknowledge that the starters were okay, the mains weren't - and keep in mind it seems as though he sampled two of the choices for the main. The mediocre desserts surprised me, thought AF excelled in this course.
