Hi,
Just thought I'd try to upload a few pics from a flight I took the day before yesterday from Lodon Gatwick to Dublin airport (return) with Ryanair. Unfortunately the flight was delayed a little which meant I had little time to take pics at Dublin airport but hopefully overall is not too bad.
Was quite suny when I left in the morning:
Driving:

Aer Lingus sign again:
Off-airport parking:
Hotel Sofitel London Gatwick:

Taken from the shuttle train to the South Terminal:
South Terminal:
I went to Starbucks and had a skinny lemon poppyseed muffin and coffee of the day:
Hilton Hotel:
South Teminal airside (having just goe through security):

Boarding (I was the first in line to board until I decided to take this pic!):
Seated (I was on the right hand side with a window seat forward of the wings):
Another cabin pic:
Aer Lingus A320(?):

Another plane (taxi to runway 8R):

Holding short British Airways 737:

Climb:
M25 (Motorway going round London) I think:
Climb:
Town of Redhill (I think). I was kinda recognising it by I think the train station and shopping centre next to it (turned right now heading west towards Dublin):
Climb:
LHR (I think) was the light patch in the middle next to the reservoirs:
It's a 321, you can see as it has 4 full size doors with the center 2 doors quite far away from each other.
The 320 has their 2 small doors above the wings, tightly next to each other.
The 319 has only one overwing door ( except U2 )
Thanks for sharing!

Nice report.
The weather looked great, I think we've been lucky so far this month. Nice to see so much of Aer Lingus at Gatwick and Ryanair getting the job done in their usual cheap and cheerful style.
Quoting Pe@rson (Reply 7): That is 110% a 320, not a 321.
It was the Aer Lingus aircraft at Dublin which I believe is causing the confusion. It's an A321 as you can see the four full size doors and no overwing exits even at that difficult angle. The Aer Lingus aircraft at Gatwick which is the one I think you're referring to is indeed an A320.

Hi,
Just to say many thanks for the comment/encouragement. The Gatwick-Dublin route is definitely a cool route. It's short and sweet and I like both airports (both have Starbucks!). Have actually booked another flight for next week (the price was only around 20 pounds) and will hopefully manage to take some pics of the terminal at Dublin this time.
