Hey sort of small update, these are a couple pics of the last trips ive done. Ive flown with ryanair about 12 times now in the last year. Especially because due to moving to Scotland thats the only way for me to get back home without spending 24 hours in a bus or flying to Schiphol.
My first trip would be Eindhoven Airport to Barajas Madrid
General Flight Information
Flight: FR 5407
12 September 2007
This is my first EVER planeride, had no idea what to expect it was to visit a friend of mine who i met online. So because i wanted to be ontime i spend the night with my cousins who live in Eindhoven.
In the morning i got brought to the airport and from there i had to make my own way. Went through customs had no problem - waited for about 45 minutes because i was to early and then we finally boarded the plane.
They always say its greener on the other side .. apparently not
After about 2hr 30 minutes i arrived in Madrid. It was nice and weird because it isnt really a feeling you can describe, they say its like a rollercoaster .. it is but on the other hand it isnt. But the first thing i noticed when i walked out of the airport was the heat. It was 17'C when i left, it was 35'C when i arrived.
It was a nice 3.5 days, except for the fact that i got quite sick. Is it me or does everyone get a bad case of the flu when they go by plane for the first time? my sister had the exact same thing when she went by plane to turkey last year also got sick. I managed to infect everybody near me with the dutch flu .. was amusing except it was sooooo hot there.
But i did new things like try and speak spanish ..didnt work :P - tried japanese food for the first time, she has now made me addicted to japanese food and sushi (salmon with rice mostly)
and after 3.5 days it was time to return to the airport and home. By that time i was so sick i shouldnt have been allowed on the plane but i doubt that ryanair would notice that. And it also didnt help that i had to be at the airport 4am in the morning.
This is just a one way trip to Glasgow when i moved there to work at IBM
Not many pictures nor information
Was very funny when i arrived, it was 20C .. thats not something you expect from the country famous for constant rain and crappy weather. Like right now we also have hot sunshine
See the rest in the reply below this one.

3) Germany Dusseldorf Weeze to Norway Torp
I was going to norway to visit a friend of mine. Was quite nice, I first had to spend 22 hours in the bus from Glasgow to Den Bosch Holland, spend 4 days there because my uncle died of a brain tumor quite suddenly, went into the hospital and didnt make it to the end of the night. After those 4 days i took Ryanair from Weeze to Torp.
This was one exhausting trip 24 hours bus - no real recovering time in holland - plane to norway - 6 days trip including going back and forth with a truck to bottom of sweden 3 times and then taking the plane back to glasgow where i had to work the next day.
Last but not least probably so far the worst planeride ive got, but thats only because it had nothing to do with the plane it was totally my sister's fault. She wanted to visit me in Scotland. So i booked 3 tickets one for me - her and her best friend because my sister is such a scardy cat that she has to have someone with her when going on vacation.
But anyway I went home for the holidays then went back including my sister and her friend. We left as usual from Weeze Germany. And this would be the second time my sister would be flying so that was interesting thats why i went all the way home so i could be there.
So we got brought to the airport by car went through customs without a problem. Last time i was there i had a big problem, the machine went completly mental because yeah . lack of room in my normal suitcase including being overweight which is hell when flying ryanair. I had a soup pan in my handluggage. Very amusing when the customs have NO idea what this weird blue thing is ..so my suitcase got checked found a pan no problems when through to the giftshop .. first thing that happend ..the metal detector went off -_-' lucky me .. i just kept walking and sat down for my plane.
So off we went to the tiny area that you get stuck in after customs. the only thing you have is a small restaurant and a phone plus toilet thats it.
We ended up being 1 hour to early AND having 6.5 hours delay, did we get any compensation or anything from Ryanair? Nope. The only reason why this trip was such an annoying time was hearing my sister nagg about wanting to go home, after 4 hours i was like GO home then, they actually had the ability to go home i on the other hand didnt because this was my return ticket to my house, this was my way of going home. But after 6.5 hours we finally boarded. Arrived in Prestwick, managed to get one of the last trains and arrived in my house. The next evening my sister and her friend left for holland again. Sort time but they did manage to get to Scotland.
this is it so far. probably the next time that ill make an TR is either in July - August or October. Seeing if im correct i should be going to gibraltar in July - im picking up my next door neighbour in August for his first planeride and a trip to Scotland and the most important one for me, next thursday ill be buying my planeticket with singapore airlines to Jakarta for 3.5 weeks
