We arrived to SEA at 0900 for check in. We were greated by a CSA at the bag drop counter who decided that I did not look like the photo in my passport or drivers license anymore. After 20 minutes of talking with a supervisor and a TSA agent, they finally agreed to ticket my bag and let me proceed through security. The que at security was rediculous. We were in line at 0931 and finally cleared at 1014. They had 2 metal detectors closed, which really slowed the process even though there were 13 TSA agents just standing around drinking coffee and bs'ing about having to finally do some work. We made it to A13 at 1030 after stopping to grab a bite to eat at Manchu Wok. Our inbound aircraft arrived 10 minutes late, however the turn was pretty quick and we pushed 7 minutes late. We took off from 16C and were airborne 6 minutes after push. It was pretty smooth ascending from SEA. However, it got bumpier and the Captain finally turned the seatbelt sign on for good about 40 minutes into the flight as the moderate chop turned into light turbulence. Descending into SLC was a wild roller coaster ride and the little kid in mom's lap behind us threw up and got in my hair and down my back. The agents in SLC were extremely nice and I got a nice new DL Skyteam shirt after deplaning in SLC. We had 2 hours to kill, so we went over to California Pizza Kitchen located on the D concourse. Had a real nice conversation with a DEN based OO flight crew.

Boarding for DL1530 started at 1615. This flight had 1 empty seat on it. The process was the most efficient I have seen in a long time. We pushed from the gate a few minutes early. We taxied out to 34L and blasted out of SLC. We took a 360 degree turn around the city before finally turning towards ORD. We tracked interstate 80 all the way to Davenport, IA before being vectored into ORD. We started down about 136nm from ORD and were vectored to the north over Palwaukee, out over Lake Michigan, and then back to the west for a 27L arrival. The FO was quick to slam on the brakes once on the ground, almost hit my head on the seat in front of me. A brief taxi to L3 and the trip came to a dissappointing end. I talked with the FO and Capt. for a minute and joked with them saying " I thought this was DL not WN.' The FO replied " Was at WN for 6 years, only thing I miss."
I have to say, my wife and I are big people, but we can sit comfortably in coach without bothering anyone else if we're next to them. However, this couple seated in 32b and c were extremely large and I felt bad for the guys in 32a and d. The flight attendants had a little problem getting the beverage cart and snack cart passed this couple. I really do think that huge people like that need to purchase first class seats or something else if they can't lose the weight. Anyways, the service was excellent and I will take DL again for my next flights which will be ORD-ANC-ORD in August and ORD-OKC-ORD in December.
