Just got back from my first day at AirVenture 2009. Here's a pic I took of the Airbus A380. If any of you are going or have gone to Oshkosh, post your pics!

Quoting 76794p (Reply 4): did you see the landing i hear it was pretty rough
I was there for the landing on Tues. There were strong cross winds coming from the west. Runway 36(L) was the only runway that it could use. There was only one turn off that the A380 could take to get to the display area. All of the taxiways past that one were too small, so they would have had to tow him back. Upon review of the landing, he planted it right on the numbers in order to have enough stopping room. It looks worse in the videos than it did in person. I'm no pilot, but I'd say for the conditions that day and the fact that he HAD to make that taxiway, it was an okay landing.

Yes, there were strong crosswinds, but the landing was pretty nice, IMHO. I'm in the process of putting all of the video footage on youtube, so you can watch the landing and see what YOU think! Here's another photo that I took that turned out pretty good- the Scaled Composites White Knight Two (Burt Rutan / Sir Richard Branson's Virgin Galactic airplane):
