Good Afternoon!
I went to Indiana to visit my brother over Labor Day weekend. I flew on Southwest from ONT to PHX and then hopped on Northwest/Delta from PHX to DTW and finally onto EVV. Here we go!
My journey begins....
Southwest's counter at ONT
My bird to PHX
I didn't really take any pictures on board because I was busy drinking with the guy sitting next to me!! Oops!
Southwest birds in PHX
Boo ASU!!
My luggage with my waiting for the transfer bus
Waiting for the bus
On the bus that took me to Terminal 3 at PHX
Delta/Northwest counter at PHX
My bag ready to go to EVV with me
A cool old school plane at PHX
PHX isn't that busy at 11PM on a Friday night
As you can see.....not too many people around this time of night

I enjoyed your TR very much. Is there any bus or train service from Los Angeles to ONT?

At the current time, no. The only airport that has transfer service to LAX is BUR.

Interesting routing. Did you find the ONT-PHX on WN plus PHX-DTW-EVV all-inclusive pricing to be cheaper than ONT-EVV?

I had a bunch of credits to use from WN and it was dirt cheap to from from ONT-PHX. I then found an insanely cheap flight from PHX to EVV and took it.....
WN flight from ONT to DTW was too expensive.

Good Report!
In one of the photos showing the flight status to DTW, the DL flight is indicated as on time but the NW flight, scheduled to leave at 11:55 p.m., shows that it has been rescheduled 40 minutes earlier, to 11:15. Can they do that, or was it a typo? I don't recall seeing this before.

Your flight PHX-DTW was on an Airbus right?
I am asking because I see a wingtip...however your interior shows all blue leather...a DL interior.
Does this mean DL has started re doing the NW interior on the Airbus singlebodies now?
Great report though and I enjoyed the pictures!

Great report ! You were on one of two gold painted 737s for WN.
Legrooms looks fantastic on NW/DL plane from PHX but looks REALLY cramped DTW-EVV.
Take Care

Yeah that A320 had DL paint and interior....there are a many NW A/C that have the DL interior now... however the installations are sometimes in phases. many A/C ive been on or looked in have just first class seats done, or carpet/curtain/light replacements, and sometimes a combination of those. Coach seems to be last to get the seat covers.
All flights have great IFE...get yourself a window seat, thats something no PTV can beat! flew 808 Pacific an Atlanic

Very nice pictures, enjoyed seeing all of the sites from the trip!
I have traveled through PHX many times but never Terminal 3, only Terminal 2 and 4 so I enjoyed seeing what that terminal looked like.
Nice Job, Caitlin!
