This is a trip report from my recent trip to London and Switzerland.
I went with a friend, and although I have previously been to Geneva and Zurich on short trips, this was my first time spending more than two days in the country. I have to say that this trip was fantastic. Switzerland is such a beautiful country, the best part was visiting the stunning countryside and breathtaking alps. I also fell in love with the city of Bern, one of the prettiest places I have ever been to. Of course the weather helped, it was sunny the entire two weeks we spent in Switzerland.
Anyway, the holiday started in London where we spent three days. London is always fun, and I always go there in the late summer to catch a couple of prom concerts.
The flight from OSL to LHR was on an A320 (G-EUUW) in CE. There has been some "enchancing" in CE recently, and we certainly noticed that the portions were smaller than they used to be. And everything we wanted after the only bar service we had to request. I asked for a G&T and assumed they would offer wine to the meal after it had been seved. No such luck. We actually had to ask for a bottle of wine to the meal. No coffee refill either, not that we wanted it, as the coffee was what we call brown water.
apart from that, the service was ok, but very impersonal and a little cold.

Pasta with fish

G&T, redwine and coffee.

Approaching LHR

Our hotel in London, very nice and central location.

After three days in London we headed for LCY to catch our flight to ZRH. A nice flight on a BA Cityflyer Avro. We were the only CE pax and I counted 31 pax altogether.
A very nice female FA looked after us, the service was much better on this flight, the crew were not excactly working there buts off (3 FA and 31 pax).

Good leg room, but narrow seats.

About to take off.

Taking off.

Nice view of London

Lunch. smoked salmon with potatoes and salad. Tasty, but hardly a sufficent meal if hungry.

Short finals into ZRH.

From the city of Luzern.

From Bern's old town.

Iced coffee with whipped cream, yummi.

From the alps.

From the city of Zürich.

Weiss Bier.

The return trip was an unventful flight with SAS in Y. As always, no service whatsoever apart from a BOB concept. The B737-800 was packed and it was a very uncomfortable flight.

A dry and over priced sandwich and some cheap Argentinian wine. The flight home with SAS was hot, stuffy and not very pleasant.

Thank you for reading. Hope you enjoyed it.

Regards OEH68

Thanks for your report, I am however a bit disappointed by this level of service.
