@ Adana Sakirpasa
I arrived at the airport after a 2 hour ride by car. Upon arrival it was already busy at the airport due to several departing aircraft to Istanbul. If I recall correctly there was a Pegasus and SunExpress flight besides our TK flight. The airport itself has an international terminal and a domestic terminal. The domestic terminal is small but clean and efficient. I passed thru security, which is right at the entrance of the terminal building. After passing security I went to the check-in desk. C-class check-in was empty and everuthing was handled fast by the man behind the counter. After check in I walked to the lounge which is located upstairs.
Lounge
The lounge in Adana is good, but nothing special. It’s a small lounge which was recently refurbished. When I was flying home the previous year it was still in the old style. This year they upgraded it into the same style as their other lounges. It is a a huge improvement if you compare it to the old lounge, but it is still not a lounge that has a WOW-factor. But to be honest, the lounge is more then enough for this airport. Here are some pics of the lounge.

Boarding
Boarding was anounced 20 minutes before departure. I walked down into the main area where the gates are located. When saying gates I mean two doors on ground level which they use as gates. You have to walk to and from the aircraft at Adana airport. It was very crowded but at the same time the row of passengers vanished very quickly. So in no time I found myself on the stairs and in the aircraft.
I was greeted by two young female flight attendants. I quickly put my stuff into the overhead bins and sat down on my seat, which was 1A for this flight.
The flight
After the usual routine of checking seatbelts, the safety demo on the overhead screens, we were ready for our short taxi to the departure runway. And off course all C-class seats were provided with (packed) blankets and pillows.

After a short taxi we took off. Once in the air you could smell the breakfast being prepared. And boy was I hungry. So I eagerly awaited the breakfast that would be served on this morning flight. The curtain opened and a friendly attendant approached me with my breakfast tray. She immediately asked me what I would like to drink with my breakfast. I chose orange juice.

During the time that I was busy with my breakfast the attendant regularly checked if I needed a refill and was provided with it. The breakfast tasted very good! The omlette was just perfect and everything else too. Portions were suffficient, even when very hungry. And in my opinion this breakfast beats about every other experience I have had in C on other airlines for short flight like this one (1h 30m).
After I finished my breakfast, the attendant cleared my tray and asked me if I would like some coffee or tea. I asked for a cup of tea, and was served one in less than a minute, including a nice touch!
Tea

After I finished my tea the attendant approached and asked if I would like a refill. I said no and started to explore the cabin/seats and took some pictures. As you can see these are the new seats of TK. And I actually like the colours. I admit that it might seem a little bit off or awkward but once you have flown in these new cabins you actually start to like them. Soft tones and fresh looking. Just my opinion. The new seats (just like the old ones) are equipped with footrests. Nice feature. Legroom is also generous. Here are the pics.

Cocktail table that blocks the middle seat

As you can see in the above photo, the cocktail table’s sides also function as armrests. The actual armrests are folded away between the seatbacks and become ‘ invisible’ as the bottom of the actual armrest is equipped with the same colour leather as the seats so it blends in with the seat back. In this way the same effect is achieved as it was with the old seats: creating extra width. With the old seats it was done with moveable armrests.

Arrival @ Istanbul Ataturk
Very soon it was time to land. The cabin was prepared for landing. Landing was uneventful, and smooth. Here are some pictures just before touchdown.

Aircraft taxiing towards that runway

After touchdown we taxied to our parking spot. Which was a stand and not a gate. So we needed to disembark by stairs and were bussed to domestic arrivals. Once we arrived at domestic arrivals I went to pick up our bags. As they had priority tags they were the first ones to come out. Once again priority tags worked! After I packed up my luggage I went out of the domestic arrivals area and followed the route to the international departures terminal to catch my LX flight to ZRH.
The verdict
Well, the attendants were very nice, polight, professional and fast. Service was good. Asked for refills regularly and they did not disappear behind the curtain. Catering was top notch! I do not know if any other airlines serve a hot breakfast for such short flights? Seats were good too, new and comfy. Actually I had nothing to complain about on this flight. Maybe some crying babies, but I guess no one can prevent that. So, overall this flight was very good and I would rate it with an 8.5.
Hope you enjoyed my report!
