I parked my car in Lisbon airport at P3 long term parking outside (relatively cheap, about 300 Euros for 3 weeks stay).
Smooth checking at swiss/portway business counter at Lisbon airport.
Beautiful new TAP /Star alliance business lounge in Lisbon with fresh colours and delicious "canapes".

Red wine from Valais or Chasselas white wine as swiss wine selection: excellent both.

I let you enjoy the breathtaking pictures, i could switch to both sides of the cabin to take them, as 4 seats were empty.
Load was about 85% -90% I would say.
Very attentive service (the Maitre de Cabine was very entertaining) and communicative pilots. Overall a flight to remember.
Later I will post my continuation flight to Bangkok.

Hola Dtswi!
Thanks for this TR on my favorite airline.
As many times I have flown LX I am always impressed by their service, food and attention by the crew.
Food on this particular flight looks really nice and accompained by the stunning views of the Alps can be considered one of the best reaturants in the world.
We had Toblerone chocolates on board for a few weeks, but now we're back to the good old thank you for flying swiss chocolates.
Quoting Shamrock321 (Reply 2): Good report but how could a 1221 door close for a 1220 departure be considered on time?
An on-time departure is STD off blocks +15mins. So unless something went seriously wrong, they would have been off-blocks on time with a 1221 door close.

Thanks for the report. Beautiful pictures.
Quoting Wouwout (Reply 9): long term parking: 300 euro for 3 weeks?!?! Is that including service and new tires?
This is really expensive. Even in ZRH which is usually quite an expensive airport it is cheaper. Here you can park three weeks for CHF 263.-- (€ 175.--).

Many thanks for the excellent report and pictures.
Some may say it's a great product but I don't see anything that's any better from the other major European carriers with a business class cabin - the seat pitch or the food certainly look nothing exceptional. I really do think SWISS are over rated on the short haul European product but are excellent in long haul.

You are probably right. But I really don't see why there should be more on these short hops. On the long flights the pitch and width get important.
Probably you are right re. seat pitch and food, but I guess swiss distincts itself in quality of service, meaning courtesy and attention of steward and reliability/punctuality.
They are not by chance 1st european airline in business for several years.

Quoting LXA340 (Reply 15): Is the cockpit crew getting C Class meals on european flights or only if there are left over meals?
We have our own designated crewmeals (more like glorified Y meals) but whenever there are left over C meals, I^ll go for them, and there almost always are
