Quoting Cathay Pacific (Reply 1): I always think at this angle, the plane is smiling at us.
Ahh, a fellow plane geek like myself (ha)!! I agree! Thanks for a beautiful trip report, and your photos are just sublime. Singapore is a wonder, and I can't wait to return! And I can't wait for my first flight on a 77W!

Thank God they started serving the nuts in a bowl. It looks so much better!
Thanks for the report, I did the 77W JCL to HKG as well some years ago so thanks for the memories. Sadly there hasn't been much of SQ (or JCL) logged in my travel plans afterwards.
Welcome to my starry one world alliance, a team in the sky!

Your trip report needed no report....the photos themselves were an excellent photographic narrative! It's true a photo can say so much more than words themselves!
Your first part of photos almost made me forget there was a trip on a plane coming up! Isn't this the same plane service to San Francisco?
Btw I thought only Roni wore funky shoes
This looks like the entrance to a series of narrow urinals

One great J product, maybe the best out there!?
SQ hardware is def. classy!!
No offense, but the some parts of the seat are a bit worn out! Maybe too much pax in J class for SQ! All seats are used and occupied at all time.
Still waiting for my chance for SQ new Business class seats.
Guess it's soon. 120,000 miles with THAI, hope SQ is nice enough to give Royal Orchid Plus some seats on new J class!!
Thank you for the report,
NET

please help me understand how SQ can make a profit with their new J cabin.. they seat 4 abreast, other airlines can do 7 abreast with the angled flat seats.. therefore the price of J on SQ must be 75% higher than on the more traditional J cabins, yet the price is not 75% higher - how do they make up the difference?
