SIN-HKG On Board SQ's B77W J Class

First stop before my next connecting flight.

SQ Silver Kris Lounge at the new T3

left turn to Business Class Lounge

Straight after the entrance was the business centre

Food and drink selection were great.

Taste wasn't too bad considering they are buffet style.

A walk around T3....
T3 does give a very warm feeling which is totally different to those from the cool atmosphere of HKIA and KLIA

AS in the old terminals, T3 had a lot of relaxing area for transit pax both big and small kids to kill time with

But since I had so much time to kill, I made my way to T1 and T2 for some sight seeing Smile

I'm 6'1" and this is the legroom....heaven

Mirror mirror on the seat, who has the best J class of them all....

After takeoff drink (Singapore Sling) + warmed nuts

Dinner time
Sauteed prawn with green papaya salad

Spicy Chicken with fragrant rice

One of the best cup of chamomile tea I've ever had, both in air and on the ground.

Again, no TR will be complete without any lav pics Wink

Almost there

In terms of crew service, this flight was no different to the SYD-SIN leg.

Seat comfort was definitely waaaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the Spacebed.

Also the dining ware and glasses used were more standardised.

Glad you could enjoy SQ's 77W at least on one of the legs. Isn't that a great aircraft ? Would prefer it over SQ's 380 any time.

Thanks for the report, I did the 77W JCL to HKG as well some years ago so thanks for the memories. Sadly there hasn't been much of SQ (or JCL) logged in my travel plans afterwards.

Your trip report needed no report....the photos themselves were an excellent photographic narrative! It's true a photo can say so much more than words themselves!

Your first part of photos almost made me forget there was a trip on a plane coming up! Isn't this the same plane service to San Francisco?

SQ hardware is def. classy!!

No offense, but the some parts of the seat are a bit worn out! Maybe too much pax in J class for SQ! All seats are used and occupied at all time.

Still waiting for my chance for SQ new Business class seats.
Guess it's soon. 120,000 miles with THAI, hope SQ is nice enough to give Royal Orchid Plus some seats on new J class!!

please help me understand how SQ can make a profit with their new J cabin.. they seat 4 abreast, other airlines can do 7 abreast with the angled flat seats.. therefore the price of J on SQ must be 75% higher than on the more traditional J cabins, yet the price is not 75% higher - how do they make up the difference?
