Amazing quality of video! The take-off was gripping - especially watching as the water particles moved with the aceleration and the way she instantly banked left to give an overview of the airport...
And the descent into SIN at 05.50 in the morning? Charged! Really exciting viewing coming over a city in the dark in the early hours on an A380. I'm not normally a fan of the videos but this was superb!

Hey juebelhart, loved the videos, even more so as they were of SQ. Echoing Luke's comments I loved the take-off in Zurich with the spray and mist being sucked into those huge engines as well getting the great reflections in flight of the contrails. Landing in Singapore was excellent and reminds me of whenever I fly into Changi.
As for the pictures, they are stunning and I love the way you have set them up. Good work my friend.

Wow, amazing! You have brought trip reports to another level. Such high quality videos. Feels like I am on board - and frankly also suddenly makes me miss flying, even though it wasn't so long ago that I last flew. Thank you for sharing your journey with us juebelhart.

In my opinion you just set the standards for trip reports around here.
If a photo says more then 1000 words, a video like this says more then a million.
What I found interesting was the shallow rate of climb from ZRH after the left turn.

thanks everybody for the nice comments, much appreciated.
The A380 is a slow climber initially, usually after take-off clim rate is rather slow until aircraft is in clean config.
Langkawi is fantastic, true paradise, no mass toursim and stunning beaches and scenery.
