2nd Trip report..

After enjoying ourselves in HKG for the past 4 days, it's time to say goodbye. HKG is definitely on my to visit again list in the near future. What i dislike most was the fog that mess up the visibility of the skyline either in Kowloon or HKG island itself.
We left the hotel around 10 am in to catch the hotels free shuttle service to the Central Station and once we reached there, we checked in from the City-Check in counters that are available before boarding the train to HKIA. Check in was again a breeze. Then took the train to the airport for roughly half an hours ride. Once we got into the airport, headed straight to the customs and again was a breeze. After that we went straight to our gate and spotted some planes.

After waiting for about an hour or so, the agent made an announcement for boarding and as usual the priority ones are first followed by the less priority. The agent tore the big portion of the ticket and we headed to the plane to board. We were greeted by a mle steward at the door and welcomed us with a smile. As we proceed to our seats, the SQ girls welcomed us again and showed us to our seats and helped us with the bags to stow in the compartment. Then again we settled down and began fiddling with the controls on the IFE. Boarding took about 15 mins and once passengers are account for, they began to close the doors and prepare for pushback.

A male steward attending to a passengers enquiry as usual. This batch of crew are much more livelier and energetic than the previous flight. At least they are really passionate in what they do, and passion is what SQ and CIAS should try to instill in their employees whether it's in the lounge, counters or in the planes. That is why Changi Airport and SQ are ranked numero uno.

As usual the crew handed out hot towels for passengers to freshen up and 10 mins later collected back the towels. After that we started to pushback and we taxied to the runway and prepared for take off soon after.

Climbed to cruising altitude, once the seat belt signs are off, the crew began to serve drinks as usual. OJ and Apple juice are the choices again. The crew handed out menu cards but i pre booked MOML meal online already.
MOML menu for the day was Spicy Lamb Rendang with curry potatoes and chick peas and Basmati rice. Salad was just plain and gave only a pack of biscuit. Same boring meal again.

To finish off the meal, the crew then gave out Haagen Daz ice cream. I chose Cookies and Cream.
Three hours later, the captain made the announcement as we are descending towards Changi Airport. The crew began collecting blankets, headsets and rubbish as they are preparing the cabin for landing.

Landing was smooth and began taxiing to our gate in Terminal 2 this time instead of Terminal 3. So this brings an end to my return trip report on SQ. Stay tuned for my next trip as i go EK-razy to IST from SIN. Adios....
