Well after after a month of craziness I finally have time to write Part Three the conclusion to my Hawaiian trip I took way back in April. I did however take very detailed notes and a lot of pictures so not much has been lost by the wait.

So after just 2 days in HNL it was time to head back to the mainland. For those of you who read Part Two of my report you know that while eating sushi on or last night in HNL my dad received an email from Alaska informing us that we had both been upgraded. After we found out we had been upgraded my dad suggested calling my mom, brother, and sister who had flown back in Y from LIH two days before. I quickly cautioned him against that knowing that my mom who hates flying and has never had a good flight in her life would not be happy. So we resolved never to tell the family of our F class adventure.
The next day we had to get up early around 5:30 to leave for the airport. Before we left however went went to Starbucks and got some Orange Juice and muffins. We got a taxi from our hotel to the airport and arrived at the Alaska check-in. When we first arrived at the Alaska check-in things seemed very disorganized with agents running around and the First Class check-in stand left unmanned. My dad and I lined up along with a Russian family after about a minute of waiting however an agent came over and checked us in and we were on our way. Once we were checked in we went through security quickly enough.
For some reason I lost the picture of it but there was also an Omni Air 757 parked at a gate. This caused me some pause because I had never seen this airline before. You don't often see charter airlines at SEA when your in the AS gates. After about 40 minutes or so of plane spotting a significant number of people were waiting by our gate so my dad and I headed over. At the gate we got a couple of seats and my dad went off to the bath room while I tried to peer around the glass to get a view of a JAL 747.
Soon however it was time to board. My dad and I got in line and boarded with the rest of the F class pax. My dad had originally been assigned 1D while I was in 4A however my dad happened to know the guy who was sitting in 4B and switched with him.
After every one had boarded our male flight attendant informed us that there were 7 quiches and 9 pancakes on board. To see who would choose first each row drew a number between 1 and 4. The FA then took orders starting with the row that drew the number 1. Since my row drew 2 I got the pancakes and my dad got the quiche. However the last two people to order were stuck with pancakes.
Well that concludes my Hawaiian Trip report. Sorry for having so few photos. I turned this trip report into a project for school. I photo shopped a bunch of the pictures and there are many more images. Plus it is in book form so there is also writing. When I get it I will post a link to it. There are some artsy pictures of clouds but I also did a bunch of really cool stuff with photo shop. Also in the future look for my trip report to PHL (with cancellations) as well as my experiences in Alaska's 737-800 simulator and if all goes well tomorrow the C-17 simulator at McChord AFB.
Thanks again for reading.
