This is a summary B of a two part trip report of bmibaby's service from Dublin (part A - the outbound flight has already been posted.) with my mum.

Time to fly home again, back to East Midland Airport. The hire car had to be returned at 1800 so we had bags of time to get rid of, the flight wasnt due to leave until 2145. Me and mum went to the bar and had a few drinks, saw the bmibaby flight BEFORE us depart, that was G-ECAS the 737-301 as well so I guessed i'd be flying home on the same machine
Check in opened two hours before the flight was due to depart, and in Dublin there was me creeping closer and closer to the desks from one side as a group of girls on the other side was doing the same, as the desks opened we charged at them (others were waiting behind us) and I heard one say "I think it was a draw!" and I could tell they'd been talking about me from the other side because of their body language ANYway enough about the passengers, now the airline! The check in staff were beasts of airport handling agent Aviance and they were both girls, and very pleasant. I was the first to check in and recieve my boarding card as the samp said 001 and 002 next to the PAX code I was allocated a windowseat this time (yippee) same row as the outbound flight just on the other side (A and B) we checked in, and then proceeded into the security lions den, which was more intense than at EMA) before spending the last of our small Euros on some gifts and a drink in the bar. Time was dissapering fast, before we knew it we were called to the gate (C52) but with no plane (hmm) 2145 rolled around, still no plane, and no announcemnt but arh minutes later a bus pulled up, we were called for boarding, and we jumped on the aviance bus, this took us for a ride! all the way over under the air lingus pier and right over to the other side of the airfield, the bmibaby 737300 G-ECAS was parked up on a remote stand, it had arrived five miuted late from EMA but was parked all the way over here for some other reason.
We got on coach number one, so we were the first bunch to get on the plane, the nice warm cabin crew greeted us after we walked up the stairs (the bmibaby livery looks gorgeous lit up at night, that tail wow!!) little did we know we'd be sat on there for what seemed about half an hour before the second coach arrived! The people piled onboard (nobody was booked to sit next to mum) and doors closed and we began taxiing late, at 2220. We went right all the way down the the other end of the airport, we taxied for some rediculous amount of time and because I wasnt tracking it, I cant give any precise times in this report
We eventually got up in the air and the inflight service was the same as the outbound flight execpt it was dark outside and they had to dim the lights before takeoff and landing! I spent £4.00 onboard
The flight was nice and smooth, bit of turbulence here and there but nothing to scream and shout about, and the landing was very smooth, very nice, despite this, they still used total reverse thrust on landing, so we could exit the runway a little early! The crew were pleasant and polite and following the long taxi once again at EMA we saw the gorgeous 733 in its nightlight glory outside once again parked next to a GO Fly 733 as neither aircraft were going anywhere until morning.
So all in all two very very good and cheap flights onboard bmibaby, I will certainly fly them again, I was very impressed and have no bad feelings against them.
