Hej, dear readers,

I´am finally back to my standard departure time today.
Arrived, well after some difficulties, but anyway not that much later than scheduled, yesterday in the late afternoon from Croatia

Zadar Airport Blackout And The Croatia Dash 8-400 (by FLIEGER67 Jul 16 2011 in Trip Reports)

I´am heading in northern direction, midsummer is not that far away and so Sweden seems like an interesting goal.
Well, do that lazy guy at the scheduling department really know what he does, when pushing the book it button for today´s flights?.
Sitting relaxed in his comfy armchair and watching me rushing through the airports!.
Some irregularities, a small delay here and then and soon a connection is gone.
It seems, I should talk something more serious with him soon!.

But wait, here is the updated map with my departure airports

Departure airports auf einer größeren Karte anzeigen

and also the latest routemap

Tripreporter´s Flüge auf einer größeren Karte anzeigen

Now, let´s go for Sweden!.

Service SK 668 operated by SAS Scandinavian Airlines
Scheduled: 07.00 // 8.35

The cell phone alarm is set for 04.00 am, on the way by car, as usual, at 05.00 am and at the airport short after 06.00 am.
There is some construction work at the car park entrance.
My italian sense told me, that I definitely don´t know what to do there with these suspicious red light. My flight seems gone, when I wait till they change for green!.
This leg is booked by french dealer Govolo, 60.-- Euro´s one way, acceptable from my point of view.
No chance to miss web-check-in, if ever possible.
SK flights departing from Germany are redirected to LH´s website.
Quick and easy to use, but the system doesn´t show my status on the boarding paper, ok try it again, nothing changed, M&M for me.
Well, it´s important, upgrades, bonus miles and else.
So, for the first time after some months I´ve used the LH desks now.
First class check in is available with Senator status, a friendly middle aged female there, only one customer at the biz counter beside.
"Good morning, it seems the system doesn´t want to show my Senator status on the boarding pass".
"Well, let me check it.
That might have something to do with the status change after booking, but I will update it for you.
So, this is it".
"Thank you, now I should fly biz, which fit´s much better to my status". Talked in a funny sense.
"Oh, let me check it again, if there is something possible for you.
Well, I´ve stick a note in your reservation to upgrade for biz, but it´s the gate agents final decision, so please contact the gate prior to boarding".
Surprise and well done, really nice customer service here.
Let me check the screen for my flight
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101001.jpg
Gate 159, no remark, so far so good.
It´s the first working day after the long whitsunday weekend and when you´ve followed my latest stories with the vacation travellers, now it seems all the biz people are on the way this morning.
Queues and queues everywhere around and I definitely want to try STR´s Senator lounge for the first time.
T1/2/3 securities, everything is busy to the limits, but wait, there is also a checkpoint at T4, the place for the ethnic charters, not always open, but there are later on flights from T4, so I will try it.
Walked along, a male agent at the entrance reading the newspaper, no customers around.
"Sorry, is the checkpoint open?".
"Sure, it is".
Believe it or not, there are pax nervous waiting in line close to miss the flights and here is simply no one beside me and some security staff.
Done in no time, walked back to T1 airside.
Up the stairs to follow this sign
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101005.jpg
Warm welcomed by a nice middle aged female and ready to use the Senator lounge.
Looks like comfy and nice designed
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101003.jpg
Well presented food offers
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101004.jpg
And a view to the apron
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101002.jpg
The lounge screen shows boarding, ok down to the ground floor for the well known Schengen bus gates.
So, things clearing up, it´s the same nice middle aged female working the gate now like earlier at the first class check in desk.
"Good morning, again".
"Ah, Mr. Felger, here´s you´re new boarding pass, seat 2A".
There is also a sign on the screen for volunteers to rebook on another flight, so it seems that´s a 100% load today.
By now, I´am the last pax to join the bus, well done LH at STR.
May I see a new registration on the apron?. The scheduled CR9 is on the seatmap.
Well it is, OY-KFB should deliver me to CPH
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101006.jpg
In case of overbooking, there is some space beneath
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101007.jpg
"Alfhild Viking" is in service with SK since 11.01.2009.
One of 12 in the actual fleet.
Leg no. 5 for me on type only by now
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101008.jpg
Cockpit crew is from Scandinavia, the captain with a nice short welcome during boarding.
He´s short thereafter again on the speakers, STR changed the runways from 25 to 07 and that means some more minutes to wait for us till the other planes found their way to the right place.
It´s 7.10 am, ten minutes late, cloudy sky and 14 degrees when we leave STR for the 1 hour 10 minutes to CPH.
Legroom is real good in the second row, the aisle is also taken by an middle aged male and sure I miss the noise here upfront
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101009.jpg
Two female FA´s, both middle aged, one ok, one somewhat cold.
The safety card

An winglet above the thick cloud cover

The view from my seat. The cabin looks clean and well maintained with the dark blue fabric seats
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101015.jpg
What about a bit more colour on these box here?
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101016.jpg
Inside, any idea what to eat?
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101017.jpg
Clouds all the way
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101018.jpg
No more clouds above the eastern sea.
With the huge number of wind power stations
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101019.jpg
Some danish islands, no route or flightlevel info
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101020.jpg
The captain is on the speakers again very nice, we´re on a straight in approach for 22L and that means arrival a bit earlier than expected.
On approach for CPH, well, the clouds are back
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101021.jpg
3300 meters asphalt is finally enough for us at 08.30 am, five minutes ahead to schedule, also here cloudy and 14 degrees.
Parked beside these retro SK A319

Out in the public, the next step now is to catch a ticket for the Oresundstag above and under the Oresund.
Done by the self service machines, ok to pay with my german Maestro card.

Service SK 2108 operated by SAS Scandinavian Airlines
Scheduled: 13.05 // 14.10

Ah, here it is, my new departure airport. Not that I see any relations colourwise with that, sorry, forgot the name, airline company from Ireland.
Let me check the screen now, no remarks for my flight from gate 31
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101038.jpg
Booking is done here with Exp.de, the fare sure ok, 50.00 Euro´s oneway.
Online-Check-In works well with SK´s website and to my surprise there is no problem with the SK system to update my status level, LH Gold is on the paper without any action from me and these flight is also booked prior to the status change, seat 9A.
The empty check-in area
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101039.jpg
Well, industrial style to say the least
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101042.jpg
Some minutes at the security check point.
A couple of less experienced travellers, so it looks like, ahead.
Booked on Al Naser Airlines to Sulaimanyah, Irak, so it seems.
In the gate area
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101043.jpg
Malmoe parked, no action around
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101044.jpg
It´s a somewhat strange place, maybe looking for further growth?. Lots of since a longer time unused gates, so it looks like at the end of the terminal close to the runways.
No lounge for me here

The original booking confirmation shows the MD for my flight. Warm welcomed, but soon thereafter changed to another less covered plane type.
It´s SE-DNX "Torvald Viking", the 737-600 like on the seatmap.
Leg no. 5 on type and a new registration.
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101051.jpg
First in service with SK from 13.05.1999. Leased to Air Europa from 14.04.2003 till 19.05.2004, back in service with SK. Leased out again from 08.11.2005 to Flyglobespan and back with SK since 07.05.2008.
There are 28 planes on type in the actual SK fleet.
Boarding starts only a couple of minutes thereafter.
Sure ok with my upcoming short connection at Arlanda
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101052.jpg
How I like these themes at the planes fuselage, always something to picture for me
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101053.jpg
Cockpit crew is from Scandinavia, the captain with a short welcome during boarding.

The seats very oldfashioned and somewhat worn out dark blue fabric
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101056.jpg
Runway 35 means 2800 meters of asphalt now for us at 1.05 pm, perfectly ontime, 18 degrees and partly cloudy. 50 minutes for Stockholm Arlanda
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101057.jpg
Cabin view. One senior male, biz friendly and two females, both nice, one middle aged, one elder at work

The well used safety card
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101059.jpg
Legroom is not impressive here, three seats for me in the end, the load is 60%
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101060.jpg
The captain is once again on the speakers short prior to descent, nice and relaxed.
"ARN accepted us early, that means an arrival ahead of schedule, as long as there are no complaints this way".
Me above the wing
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101062.jpg
Service is BOB, no route or flightlevel information.
Finals for Arlanda
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101063.jpg
Runway 01L means 3301 meters of beton this time, 18 degrees here and partly cloudy.
Parked at the gate. Arlanda Terminal 4, it´s 2.00 pm now, ten minutes ahead to schedule. Thanks god, no delay or anything else to hold me from going for the next flight.
Boarding for this one is printed at 2.30 pm from Terminal 2.
That means only 20 minutes after the scheduled arrival time.
A good way to walk and with no airside connection another security check in between.
These relaxed guy, let´s call him S., sitting in his armchair, following me closely, I know!.

Service AB 8103 operated by airberlin
Scheduled: 15.00 // 16.35

Powerwalking is the thing to do now. It´s a good distance between Terminal 4 and Terminal 2.
It´s 2.15 pm when I´am there, thanks god again, no queues at security and finally 2.20 pm at the gate 65.
Congrat´s, Mr.S., I´ve made it, and no, you don´t see me running through an airport!
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101064.jpg
No lounge for me here.
The plane was faster than me.
D-ABBF, a 737-800 is parked at the gate.
Leg no. 55 on type and yes, it´s a new registration
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101065.jpg
This plane is with AB since 29.09.2002, one of 35 in the actual fleet.
Norwegian on the go
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101066.jpg
This flight is also booked by Exp.de, the fare 50.00 Euro´s.
OLCI shows the 737-800, despite the A319 on the booking confirmation. Frequent changes with AB seems the norm these days.
OLCI works fast and easy.
Seat 31F, the last row window and finally three for me, beside an so it seems standby FA. She tooks the aisle seat during takeoff and landing. Sure ok with a load up to 90%.
Cockpit crew is from Germany, the pilot with a nice and relaxed welcome during boarding.
The 2500 meters 08 is our departure runway today.
3.00 pm, ontime, 18 degrees and partly cloudy for the 1 hour 10 minutes to TXL.
No more sandwiches with AB, cake and water for me
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101067.jpg
The actual safety card
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101069.jpg
Cabin crew is one young male and three female FA´s, one middle aged, two young, all biz friendly to say the least.
Legroom is ok here, dark blue leather, clean so far
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101070.jpg
Clouds everywhere above eastern Germany
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101071.jpg
The captain is once more on the speakers with short inflight informations. Much to my dislike the airshow is only on the screens short after departure and prior to arrivals.
The goodlooking cabin
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101072.jpg
3023 meters asphalt called TXL´s 26R welcomes me back to Germany.
It´s 04.30 pm, short ahead to schedule, partly cloudy and 24 degrees, with the usual, so it seems, german thunderstorms around.
Parked in front off Terminal C, by bus the couple of meters to the entrance.
Another leg fixed, Mr. S., looking for the final flight of the day, a new registration, please!.

Service AB 6537 operated by airberlin
Scheduled: 17.20 // 18.35

So, where to go now?.
Mr.S., you know, booked these flight together with the ARN-TXL leg, 50.00 Euro´s again, boarding 4.50 pm, arrival 4.30 pm. Also here 20 minutes only, but no selfbuilt connection and a couple of later flights on the carrier on the same route, so no real complaints here.
Hopefully a terminal C connection, that means no extra security check.
So it is, C48 for STR, no lounge for me here
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101073.jpg
OLCI works once more fast and easy.
The 737-800 this time on the confirmation, the A320 on the seatmap, 29F, the last row window for me.
Only a couple of minutes later boarding shows up on the screens and I´am on the way for the final leg today.
Self service, the plane is parked directly in front off the gate
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101075.jpg
A very close up with D-ABFK
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101076.jpg
Looks good with another company machine behind
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101077.jpg
This plane is in service with AB since 13.09.2010 only.
30 320´s over all and by far not the newest example.
Leg no. 79 on type and one more new registration
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101078.jpg
Cockpit crew is from Germany, the captain with a nice detailed information after boarding is completed.
Departure from the shorter, 2428 meters, 26L at 5.20 pm, ontime, partly cloudy and 24 degrees, 45 minutes only to STR today.
Legroom is also ok here. Finally three seats for me with a load close to 100%
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101079.jpg
The modern style cabin, dark grey leather seats, but not that really clean
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101080.jpg
Here is the safety card
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101081.jpg
Four cabin crew members today, one young male, three female´s, young, middle aged and elder, all biz friendly and nothing special.
Service is the usual snack and free drinks, I will show you a picture the next time.
Just departed above the Berlin wetlands
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101082.jpg
The FO is on the speakers with short informations inflight, routing is via LEJ at maximum 26000 feet.
Well, more clouds ahead to STR
http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b305/FLIEGER67/S1101/S1101083.jpg
Touchdown at runway 25, 6.20 pm, 15 minutes ahead to schedule, once again here at STR, cloudy and wet with 19 degrees.

Well, no complaints with the upgrade on SK, well done by LH. I like the crispbread, is that really danish or more swedish?.
The flight ontime, the price ok, what do you need else?.
Thankfully no delay on the MMX-ARN leg, also here the fare ok and a warm welcomed plane type.
AB with the same price level, ontime and quick, nothing special with the crew, but finally ok so far.
MMX airport as the new departure place is somewhat oldfashioned and built for much more traffic, from my point of view, ok but nothing extraordinary to say the least.

So, congrats to the lazy guy at scheduling, Mr.S., everything worked out in the end.

What about the feeling, circling in the plane above a closed airport when you know, that you should depart exactly from this place a couple of hours later.
And also Mr.S. got a little bit nervous this time, while he know that there is a short self built connection at CDG, on biz, ok no complaints, to do.
And he also booked me for the day after out of FRA in the late morning!.

There are five more stories to write in the backlog right now and Mr.S., done what we expect from him, for the upcoming four weeks, so maybe the next story need some more time to go online.
He forced me to do 6 more trips, 23 legs, only for the heck sitting in his comfy armchair and following me collecting some new departure airports!.

Adjö and comments welcome,

Hi Markus,

interesting report about this trip to Sweden, Malmö seems to be a nice city.

Quoting FLIEGER67 (Thread starter):
What about a bit more colour on these box here?

Well, the presentation is quite poor - and the quantity of the breakfast is nothing to write home about. That definitely doesn't look like a C Class meal.

Quoting FLIEGER67 (Thread starter):
How I like these themes at the planes fuselage, always something to picture for me

Those are nice. But the neat sayings and SK's LCC approach don't fit together IMO.

Hi Markus,
as usual a very good TR, going north is not that usual for you.
The upgrade on SK was for sure something nice in the morning, and speaks of the good groundservice of LH
The other SK segment doesnt seemed to be too bad either.
Finally the AB legs very constant as usual .
Thanks a lot for sharing
Cheers

Hi Markus,

Nice read, good to get 4 new registrations flown on the same day, impressive.

Nice to get the upgrade on SK, though I have to say their so called C class breakfast is quite poor, packaging is weak too, looks like some plastic? - not good for recycling me thinks.

AB always look good, I'm really impressed with them, look forward to a few flights on them once the enter OW.

Hi Markus,

Good to have another one off from the backlog - but then again next week will start filling it up again  .

My thoughts were exactly "Oh, you need to run!" when you told me about your plans regarding that connection at ARN - knowing that airport by heart I knew it was doable but not too much time to waste. Glad that you made it.

Next time try Malmö Aviation, it's a very good niche carrier, the only thing I dislike about them is the 3+3 seating, always so tight on the Avros...

Malmö is a nice city, I really like it. I thought you went there some years ago with your son from CPH - I seem to remember reading something about your trainride across the Öresund?

Congratulations on your upgrade as well!

Quoting FLIEGER67 (Thread starter):

Did you ask about the bump possibilities, although I guess it was too late for you by that time?

Quoting FLIEGER67 (Thread starter):
Along some not that really welcoming looking neighbourhoods and further to the green landscape

Remember, I told you about those special areas of Malmö, didn't I?

Quoting FLIEGER67 (Thread starter):
Ah, here it is, my new departure airport. Not that I see any relations colourwise with that, sorry, forgot the name, airline company from Ireland.

Yeah, that yellow color is really weird. The only airport in Sweden with that, most of their airports are red and one (NRK) is blue. You can easily spot the yellow color when overflying it - just as most HEL-CPH flights do just before commencing the final approach into Kastrup.

And you will be glad to know that after a hiatus of a couple of years FR is back at Malmö this summer!

Actually that's not C class, it's Y or "Economy Extra" instead. SK does indeed have three different classes on its European flights which is helluva confusing. As for a premium economy product I think it's an OK offering on such a route (and plane type).

I have done that same flight from STR to CPH as well last year, but didn't get an upgrade on it though (have to work a little bit on my status). Anyway an upgrade is a good way to start a day in the air.

Quoting FLIEGER67 (Thread starter):
He´s short thereafter again on the speakers, STR changed the runways from 25 to 07 and that means some more minutes to wait for us till the other planes found their way to the right place.

Great TR as usual, strange though that you are heading up North... more used to see you flying to the South, but never mind, it was a great report.

LH at STR did a great job, upgrading you to C, although knowing you I'd say they should place C seats at the back of the plane, that would do your day, wouldn't it?

Malmö is a very nice city, I spent a day there when visiting Copenhagen some years ago, I remember the park and the beautiful castle.

It seems you had nice weather, quite different from the one we are having here in BCN these last two weeks, lots of rain and we have barely reached 25ºC... I am sure many of your fellow country people are quite disappointed at this central European we have imported this summer.

You lucky man, tight connections on different tickets and you made them

Hi Markus !

Very nice report with very nice pictures!

The meal you got with your upgrade used to be the meal one got i Y; I got exactly the same box in Y about ten year ago. I agree; not really engouh for a C class meal.

Lots of windmills in Scania but probably slightly less than in Holland. Scania is well-known on Sweden for windmills.

Nice for you to get on a 736 but too bad the legroom is so bad.

I have flown from MMX too but it was a while back; August 1976........

Good that you made the very short connection at ARN; always bad to get stuck somewhere.

AB looks better than SK since the legroom is better. SK really needs to change for the better.

Nice trip for you with four new registrations and one upgrade. Perhap you should get a JP AIrline Fleets book so you can mark off the aircraft you flown and get an idea what aircraft to see in different countries ?

Great tripreport.
Nice to read about your flights to Sweden, I'm gonna fly the SK CRJ900 in august so it gave me a hint of what to expect, although, I'm economy though, as you originally intended. Nice that you got an upgrade.

Quoting FLIEGER67 (Thread starter):
It´s SE-DNX "Torvald Viking", the 737-600 like on the seatmap.

This one is also in my log, i flew it on in june on one of my many KRN-ARN flights.

Quoting FLIEGER67 (Thread starter):
The seats very oldfashioned and somewhat worn out dark blue fabric

I find them rather comfortable though!

Martin

Thanx for you´re feedback. It seems there are a couple of more stories on the CRJ9 coming up soon.

Good to know. I should also fly on KRN-ARN next month, but it was to expensive around my dates.
So I decide for Kiruna-Umea by train and DY to ARN.

Low legroom but not bad at all.

Yeah, since DY dropped the route you have to book quite some time in advance to get some decent fares, or be veeery flexible with your dates, since SK is currently the only operator on the route.

Hi Markus.

Well, you are busy just now.

Great way to score that upgrade with SK. A nice gesture from the lady.

The STR SEN lounge looks good. Comfy looking seats.

Quoting FLIEGER67 (Reply 5):
How I like these themes at the planes fuselage, always something to picture for me

Love that kind of thing. The 3rd option is the best i'm sure you agree?

I have always liked the look of the light coloured wood paneling at the bulkhead on the SK birds. Very fitting to the style from that part of the world.

Thank you for sharing with us mate. Always a pleasure.
Cheers, Lee.

Hi Markus!,

Another fantastic report and good to see that you had a change scenery going to Scandinavia. SAS seem to offer a decent product and flying on the short & stubby 736 was a bonus.

Also congrats on the upgrade though I don't really like that meal and the box it was in. Not even a SAS logo!

Looking forward to the next report in your backlog!

Regards,
aflyingkiwi

Hello Markus, great report!

Seems like you had some nice flights on SAS. Really surprised how easily you managed to get that upgrade, talking about it really seems to help. Then again having Gold status must've been what made the deal possible?

I'm a bit surprised that SAS are offering Y+ on some EU routes, as in this case. Their service concepts are confusing indeed, and I really hope they get themselves straight when it comes to their products. Hopefully we'll might see a new Y product soon (but not fully certain.)

Did you make a try at the SAS Lounge in Terminal 4? Apparently there's no one manning the entrance, instead you swipe your gold card to enter a slot of gates = just like the metro

Nice to get the upgrade on SK, though I have to say their so called C class breakfast is quite poor, packaging is weak too, looks like some plastic? - not good for recycling me thinks.

About that packaging, the plastic box is actually re-used. It's actually what makes this box so clever, in fact it even received a design award a few years back. Sadly though, they've started replacing them with flimsy paper cartons.

Thanks for sharing!

Well, if you paid any attention - the flight was overbooked (most probably in economy). Thus to resolve the situation they needed to do some op-ups (and potentially bumps as well). If they followed the SOP the way they should've done the upgrades in this order: EBP, EBG, other *G, EBS, other *S and finally random pax. Unfortunately this is quite rarely enforced outside the SAS homebases, and especially in Germany where the ground handling is done by LH they might have a tendency to prefer their "own" elites.

Mind you, I'm not saying anything was done the wrong way in this case, just a general rant.

Quoting LH4116 (Reply 23):

What do you mean "some" EU routes? Economy Extra is offered on all European international routes, the only exceptions are domestic routes in DK, NO and SE. It's the same with KF, the only difference is that it's called "Premium" there and also offered on domestic FI routes.

In addition to this most of the international routes (apart from intra-Scandinavian and I think some holiday-oriented routes) also have business class. I'm not completely sure if they offer that on the CRJ-900s and short flights (like CPH-HAM or GDN).

Well, if you read carefully enough he had just barely enough time to make the connection, no time for lounge visits.

But is that a *G lounge or just an EBG one, that's the thing I haven't been able to figure out yet?
