There some carriers where perfection and commitment for the pax reach the top and even above....
The J&F passengers are the targets for those. However, It's harder nowadays to fulfil the desire, match the customers needs. The outcome is clear, you can't lie any longer, the CDG-BKK was 7/8, and then headed to HKG, the national carrier AF left to HKG with no pax in F....
Fare does not really matter for some ( It matters to me !!!! ), they want the service to be 5*, the catering on par with some restaurants ranked by Guide Michelin with 1, 2, 3 stars. The crew have to be trained to cope with luxury pax.
TG is so well presented here thanks to our famous Thaia345. Whenever I see his nickname I know to matter the airlines I will enjoy.
By lack of time I have not yet published my TG flight to BKK last April from CDG with the 747 regional !!!!
Reason for flying : Taking my wife for a 3 days off. Don't be upset I've taken countless pics with her. Hence this report will feature me, her, and my beloved GF (the plane, the First Class)...
Check in : Fast, Already taken the seats when I made the booking.
Load : 7/8 in F.... and full in J/Y....
Lounge : I knew this lounge, but how they dare to build up this lounge ! No even close to J standard. It's a shame. Same for the LAX lounge in F.
Boarding : No one in front of us, greetings when we arrived, they lift us to our seats.
Crew : I don't know where to begin, among the best in the sky it's a start... They made everything to achieve our requests. Glass always topped up and so on, and the end of the flight I gave them a letter to congrat them. Impressed ! Some carriers should send they crew to TG training session !!!
Seat : One of the best out there, some love it, some hate it, I do love this seat, very comfy, slept 6 hours.

Food looks amazing. Never seen any other airline with carved fruit decorations before - very nice. Thanks for posting.

It is good to see that you provide positive feedback. Many people are quick to complain but not as many give praise where it is due. Well done to the crew for meeting and surpassing your expectations.
Quoting milesaddict (Thread starter): Catering: Outstanding, no words are strong enough to describe the taste.. Perfect from A to Z.
Your photos are astounding. The presentation of the food make it appear to be works of art rather than just catering. There are several airlines that could learn from this!
The suite looks roomy and comfortable, although it is showing some signs of wear.
I am glad that you enjoyed your flight and thank you for sharing,

Food was just too much to eat. Absolutely adore the carved fruit decorations (edible).

This is the Thai 777-300ER and it is nice. Thai does use it between BKK and CDG. It is a really nice airplane, good for those long routes. I recently made a trip BKK-NRT-BKK on it. I got to walk through the first class section on the way to my seat in economy class, and it looked nice. So did business class.
I really cannot complain about economy class. I usually fly Japan Airlines between BKK and NRT, but I'm going to start flying Thai Airways instead. The seating is much roomier, even in economy class.
And the Thai service is great, I can only imagine how good you had it in first class.

You are right, they were very happy about my letter, it helps them I guess.

How bad is the lounge in CDG actually??
Dreadful ! I don't get *A, how come they have set up such a miserable lounge ?
Quoting ual757 (Reply 6): How did you like the purple ones?
Very nice indeed, last April I gathered the blue one, both are nice to me.

Tks !!! I'm a bit shy, no joking I'm not !! We both had the grey.

We were on the way to HKG after this flight, no time yet to explore this fantastic country, a matter of time don't worry.

It's beyond your dreams, trust me !!!
Thanks to all of you for your positives feedbacks.
