Hello Everyone!
I hope you had a wonderful christmas!
This is my video TR of my flights in first class from New York to Hyderabad, in my usual, Emirates First Class. Enjoy it, and make sure to check out my other EK First Class videos!
This is my last EK video until this summer, as I'm flying J on the way back, and am not making a video or TR of those flights, on my way home to NY next week.
Also, even though it isn't EK, I might be flying Swiss First from JFK to Zurich and back, in April, so I will definitely do a video for that flight, or where I go for spring break, as long as it is in First Class!
My next EK video will probably be either JFK-DXB or LAX-DXB in First, and either DXB-JFK or DXB-LAX, this summer also in First, and I'm not sure if I'm going to LA or India first, so you will find out in August!
Anyway, here's the link to the video, and I hope you enjoy it!:

Nice video! What is your key to getting Emirates first? Do you use miles, or do you just splurge and pay for it? Or do you buy business and then use miles to upgrade to first? The cost, is prohibitively expensive, so unless I win the lottery, I won't be flying Emirates first any time soon!

Well, it's everything on your list. I usually always buy business class. Sometimes we splurge and and buy first, but never flown, or bough EK economy, and don't really want to either . The times we do buy business class, we do use miles. Next week, I'm flying home to new york, I'm in business class, and I don't want to use my miles, as I'm going to use them one of the ways in the summer to upgrade J to F, and one of the ways, buy First Class. It works out to be cheaper, and as much as I can, I do my best to get first class, but if not, I am perfectly fine in business class, as long as it is on the EK 777's, as I have a growing hate for the business on the A380's(way to cramped, to many seats, etc),so when I'm on the A380's, I need first, or I'm not flying. The 777 First is nice also, and I'm flying the 777 in J next week. Would your company pay for you to fly EK J, or do you every need to get to India or Dubai? If they pay EK J for you, a one way upgrade to First costs $2500, I have done that sometimes, and it works when I don't have enough miles. Also, EK mileage upgrade redemption is very hard, and it is rare to get a miles upgrade, before you get to the airport, which is only allowed for Skywards Gold, which I am. Anyway, if you ever can, make sure to try EK. It is worth the experience.

Well, I guess if you lived on the east coast, you could have been able to fly EK to Asia, but definitely not from California, too far! Anyway, hopefully you get to try it someday!
