Dear fellow readers,
Welcome to my last report featuring TG First Class Service.
Before I start, I made a huge U-turn in my life.. It was required.
I quit my jobs and set up my own company in Singapore. I feel relieved to have had the guts to do that even if my wife was scared.
After many reports published about the product. I took few pics both ways. You can find my previous reports here.
I took the flight taking off at 1:30 PM. I really can't bear this one. When I reach Asia, I'm exhausted. I'd rather take the evening one.
I got in CDG at 12:15 PM. No one in front of me but for the fist time, it took ages to get my BP.
Then I went straight to the lounge, nothing fancy yet. Checked my mails, had a drink and I was on my way to the gate. I saw my "friend ground staff" It's always a pleasure seeing her.
I was one of the last to board. The flight was full in F, J and Y. Even In F it was more than full with a baby (noisy one...)
Greeting by name, I denied a glass of champaign. I don't drink alcohols not even a beer... As always a diet coke was perfect to me.
Got the 2A for the seat. 1A taken by a Plat member. I'm very surprised about the number of Plat out there. I wonder if I should take the TG card with my flying pattern since BD is soon going to vanish.
On the way back I took the same seat.
Seat : I'm getting used to this Suite and it's tough to go back on regular First. The sliding doors are perfect to keep the privacy. I had to work on my mac so I only took a quick nap.
On the way back, despite I was tired I couldn't sleep because of the turbulences. After the meal it we were shaken up for two hours non stop.
IFE : Good as usual, however I found the movies a bit boring.
Crew : For once I found the purser a bit careless or unsmiling. Nevertheless the FA made a great job.
On the way back they were all perfect.

Yep, Thomas, good luck in Singapore, lah !
I did the same, took the step, and I'm now based in Bali, enjoying every bit of it.
No F routine flights for me though, I must keep an eye on my travel expenses.
Still, travel is always a pleasure, in Y or J.

What a way to travel! First class suite on the leased 777-300ER.
As usual, obnoxious, self-obsessed THAI flight attendants can be found on those European flights.
I hope she/he didn't make the flight less comfortable for you. I do hate their attitude!!
I can't wait till the younger generation ones be ready to serve on those long haul flights! Amazing people.
Thanks for sharing! and good luck with the new chapter of life!!
BTW, still Rimowa F kit and PJ provided on CDG-BKK v.v flights?
Don't be annoyed knowing the passengers around you are non-revs and op-upgraders, be grateful for them. Life is beautifu

Merci ! My bet you love Bali. F flight is not a dream, a peaceful life is better. Me too I have to take a look about my travel expenses, next week I'll be off to see a client in FRA, I will fly J class though it's with SQ.. R class is out of my league currently.

Yes, it tasted good as usual. However SQ remains the best for catering. TG is cheap from CDG, with SQ in R it's twice as big....
I'm working within the IT business.

So yes TG still offers that.
Quoting ghifty (Reply 6): Now, is that Joan Harris/Holloway (Christina Hendricks) I spy on your PTV?
