Hi all,
I am proud to introduce my new Trip Report documenting my recent flight from Buenos Aires Ezeiza International Airport (EZE) to Frankfurt (FRA) on Lufthansa. The flight was operated by a 747 with the new First Class and Economy interiors. I devoted a large part of the report to documenting the new Economy class cabin and seat.
The report is published in my "Trip Report 2.0" format and features over 70 high quality pictures and 14 minutes of HD Video footage.
Although it is not possible to leave comments directly in the report, I would love to hear your feedback and insights. Please post them here, in the Airliners.net thread.

Thanks for that TR!
That was really informative and comprehensive. I really enjoyed reading that.
I have flowed in and out of EZE twice and I always notice that flights from EZE to the states that leave at night are always bumpy for the first couple of hours.

Excellent story and video of LH's longest non stop route.
Regarding your question concerning EZE's terminal C, it is used by AR/AU/AF & AZ, ultimately it will be the SkyTeam terminal once AR joins the alliance - planned for mid 2012. So expect AIr Europa, Delta and AeroMexico to start operating from there too.
In fact you can see on your video an AF B773ER being pushed back from terminal C as it begins its flight to CDG.
Cheers.

Ahh, yes. This explains it. That makes a lot of sense (Terminal C becoming a SkyTeam hub). Still doesn't account for the TAM A330 though. Any thoughts?
As for posting directly into the forum, I decided instead to spend time constructing my own template that would provide the flexibility I needed to display the content/media in the ways I had imagined. I do not want this to come across as a quick blog-post report that is "dumped" into various aviation forums for viewing. It was definitely more thought through than that.

I'd imagine it was oveflow from Terminal A. I have seen pics of Emirates there - see here:

Grüß Gott!
Excellent trip report. I flew the same route in May with LH (I even stopped by the so-called "VIP Lounge" at EZE with its ripped leather seats) and had a similarly positive experience, albeit without IFE (the 744 I flew with was not yet kitted out). I flew Y, but would love to have the chance to try out the J product some time soon!

Thanks again for the very nice report. I enjoyed it as well as your excellent pics. Lucky that you managed to snag a good window seat ; )
Also, thank you for showing us one of Lufty's new 747-400s ! The new seats and PTVs make the cabin look very fresh and the passenger experience is much improved.
I agree with you on Lufthansa, they may not be the most luxurious or flamboyant, but they seem to be solidly and reliable. Glad to see them updating the fleet.

great report including one of my most favourite citys in the world, I am quite often in Buenos Aires!
Very nice the new seats on the LH 744, years since I used the last time a LH 744 I think it was around 1997 or something like that it was still in the combi versio on a FRA-BOG routing

well the lounge is very basic but at least they have some nice cold Quillmes Beer !!
