This is how it goes.
I got to Pawaukee wings at about 3:30 and I went in the building. A few minutes after I signed some papers and filled out some forms we went to get briefed about what we are going to do. Later after that we went to the airport field to our plane. When he was going around checking the flaps I told him that I rode in a Piper at a Young Eagles rally at meigs Field and next to ours was the same plane I rode on at the Young eagles rally in January. When another guy helped us he noticed that one of the cessna's tires was flat but when he moved the aircraft it wasn't. After that we got in(I got to sit on the left side where the pilot sits) and got ourselves ready for departure. He gave me a air sickness bag just in case(which I didn't need) and he ckecked the headphones and other stuff and we called the tower and we headed off to Runway 22. When we got near he stopped and did the before takeoff checklist and we taxied to 22. We lifted off the ground in minutes and headed eastward to 2,000ft. When we got up to 2,000 feet he let me control the plane and we did horizon things and turns. I was very good at turning and stabilizing the plane. When we got to Lake Michigan, I turned the plane southward and we headed over the temple in Wilmette. After a few minutes we headed westward back to Palwaukee and he showed me where ORD was and where a old army base was. When it was time to land he controlled the aircraft and we got back down to approach in 30 seconds on runway 22. When we landed we touched ground on the 22 marked on the runway and we slowed down to a stop and waited until the tower said it was clear to taxi. When we were finished I told him that I learned how to fly from Microsoft Flight Simulator and he said it was good that I used that. When we got back in I got a logbook for future flights with them or any other school. After all that it was a great time. It didn't get too windy and I had handled the plane very good. That was the best $49 dollar flight I've taken.
