Privet dear follows! Welcome to my report about my and my mother voyage to France. Almost forgot, there were 2 cute dogs with us.
The main purpose of trip was The World Dog Show 2011 in Paris. Our journey consisted of two parts:
Part 1. Paris and the World Dog Show 2011,
Part 2. Tour over Provence.

Let me introduce our pretty Roshino airport.

Check-in procedures were smooth; check-in ladies were friendly.

Screen. Every mornning there are 3 flights during hour and a half to 3 different Moscow airports operated by S7, SU and UT.

We were welcomed on board by friendly f/a and took our seats. Little more than 2 years old aircraft was perfect! Probably, the newest plane I’ve ever flown on!

Ok we are ready for take-off. But something is absent…pre-flight sweets! I’m used to that other air companies always hand them out!

Her name is Osya. This is her first trip by air. She was scared during all flight.

Food serv. Eatable Breakfast but without any hot dishes!! I’m used to have hot tasty breakfast on this route with another air company! And I ‘m used to arrive at MOW being full up, but Aeroflot decide to kill this nice tradition.

Privet SVO!
SU886 was over. In spite of everything it was nice flight, one big advantage was cabin crew. They were so friendly!
The time had come to meet the new SVO terminal D.

In terminal D connecting zone was fine and free of pax so we did pre-flights procedures without any queues.

As we were hungry we tried to find any restaurant where we were able to have a satisfying meal but all our attempts were unsuccessful. In SVO terminal D meal zone was poor. There were only pubs and cafes were hot drinks and snackes were offered.
After we had a snack we went to the area where our gate was located.

Our bird was after checking. So I could observe how our A320 was preparing for trip. I was so happy to see this show!

Meal serv. It was quite good.

The plane looked not clean after young VQ-BAZ but it was ok. Flight attendants were good but tired. They were so sleepy!
All was like in previous flight so it was boring for me. Unfortunately the descent was over the fields, not over Paris as I hoped.

We took the RER to went to Gard du Nord.
Hotel all seasons Paris Cadet Lafayette
It’s located near gare du Nord – very convenient for us because there is direct train to the exhibition centre.
As concerns the Hotel all seasons Paris Cadet Lafayette it was good: clean modern rooms, friendly staff and pets allowed. Unfortunately I had some problems with my camera so forgive me for the lack of hotel pics.
PARIS
I didn't like Paris at first sight but after spending there a couple of days I had changed my attitude. There was something in the air that made me fall in love with this gorgeous city. (I decided not to upload the pics of Paris due to here was a sea of similar photos. But wait…except these ones )

Great report! I loved it. Seems like you had some nice flights with SU, even though there was no take off sweet? The interiors look great. SU has really come a long way in a short period of time.

I'm impressed by the high level of service they offer on flights of rather short lengths; food looks quite good!
Nice. An airport that is actually an airport and not just some huge shopping center where planes bring the shoppers. The flights seemed comfortable enough and the meals quite good for flight time. No IFE on board but something far better - a wonderful shot of the clouds. Nature can be a fantastic artist.

Really good report, English is very well, I can understand everything.
SU seems to deliver good service. I do not like the very blue seatback in the cabin, but legroom seems very OK. Is the inflight magazine also in English language or only Russian? Meals seems good too!

So, what is GL flight 202? (гл 202)? Is that the S7 flight? Why do they use a different code in Russian?

Aw! I have to admit--I'm more of a cat person, but Osya is very pretty. Did anyone comment on letting your dogs out of their transport cage? My grandma once allowed the cat she was travelling with to roam the aircraft. DL didn't look kindly on that. Hehe, funny story.

Well, to be honest, that's one of the better looking breakfasts I've seen in Y class in Europe. I'm not partial to the omelet RO serves on their international routes. I'd prefer something like this, but it doesn't look too filling.

I'm not a big fan of Paris, but it's a must see city nevertheless. I think I'd enjoy it more now than when I was 11 and it was 11 degrees C outside in July.... Bucharest, 40, Kansas City 40, and we stopped in Paris--11 C.

Really and truly... they should be in the hold, not in the cabin with passengers IMO.
What if they wee and poo all over the place and stink the aircraft out. Or decide to bark and not keep quiet?
Very surprised Aeroflot allows this and would mean I wouldn't fly them!
Cabins are for people, animals downstairs please!
(Unless they are guide dogs / assistance dogs of course).

S7 and GB are the same. Globus makes scheduled flights from Moscow for S7 Airlines.All regular flights of Globus are operated under the brand S7 Airlines.

Not on SU, it was on UT. To say the truth I didn’t find any difference between Russian and European services on SU.

It depends on the rules of airlines. In most Russian companies taking pets on board is allowed. But you need a preliminary confirmation from the airline.

Russia to me is very exotic. Service on Russian airlines seems better than US airlines. You should see what they serve.

Russian and Chinese carriers are underrated. They are way better than any US carriers in term of service delivery.
Non-over-the-top attitude flight attendants plus better in-flight meal and beverages services put them far above US airliners.
Meal is never a bad thing and I believe there's a way to provide free meal without blaming on high-cost.
When it comes to cost for any enterpreneurs, it is always HIGH! So deal with it and provide free meals!!!
Make money from something else!!
