I flew to Orlando for business. My company bought an economy class ticket, and I was upgraded since I was a 1K. I bought my ticket months before, so I was able to get upgraded on the A319, which has very few domestic first class seats (eight).

I was there mainly for business, but I got one night off, so I went to check out Disney's Epcot Center. I show a brief clip from Epcot in the evening.

I hope you enjoy my commercial-free video:

Here are some photos to see the experience by photo, but the complete report is via video:

Once again, the complete trip report is in commercial-free video:

I hope you enjoy it, and thanks for watching!

About the security lines in MCO, next time you go, try the Expert Traveler Line.
I usually get through in 5 to 8 minutes, tops.

Thanks, sfffyler123 for another good video!

I'm amazed that UA doesn't utilize a 737-800 or a 757-200 for the SFO-MCO; seems a bit of a long flight to fly an A319?! Food looks good, and better on the way out for sure. UA doesn't serve anything more than just a hot cookie for desert? I thought they served a cake slice or something; interesting!

I enjoyed visiting Epcot back in January 2008. I hadn't been there since I was a kid, so it was memorable. I think that place is rolling in cash, so I'm sure fireworks don't cost too much for them each day. That is a lot of fireworks a year, though!

Looking forward to the next trip!

Best,

Matthew

I did not see thie line. Do you need to be an elite traveler to get in it or can anybody get in it? I only saw the masses, but no elite line. Maybe it was the United gates.

Thank you, Matthew, for your nice comment. Yeah, UA really uses those airbuses now. It's pretty incredible. The 6 hour flights can be quite painful, no question, so if you're stuck in economy, it is only 1 more hour than flying JFK-LHR! But with entertainment and some sleep, the time passes fairly quickly. Agree that things are crazy expensive at Disney! Thanks very much!

Hi

Great vids as usual.
Meals seem to have improved indeed on UA domestic. Some stuff from the CO-side is coming in.

Greetings
Marc

Funny how that UA offers a full first product on a domestic flight, yet nearly all European carriers just have converted Y seats for their business class.

Got to agree with needing to do something about the queues in MCO too - its always been a nightmare for me getting through there - although i do quite like getting the monorail out to the airside satellites!

I know! I was there for work, so I didn't get much time to see Disney itself!

Thanks, I agree. I think once the food product from CO displaces the UA caterer, the product will be much better.

Yes, I agree. The European carriers just have that Y seat with the middle one blocked. Not much legroom at all. yeah, someone said there is an elite line at MCO, but i sure could not find it!

UA doesnt give free club access if you are flying in First or Biz?

Thank you very much. Unfortunately, UA does not give club access if flyiing in first or business. It's only with international first & business they will allow it or on a United P.S. flight. Otherwise, no access!

As you're walking towards the main security...keep in mind that there are two separate securities, in the big hall with the massive FIDS display TVs, the expert security line is right underneath one of them.

Anyone can use the lines, and as long as you are comfortable with the security screening process.
