One of the more popular routes for ANetters lately has been LAN's MAD-FRA A340 - an easy way to log a relatively uncommon airline in Europe and / or an A340.
North America has a similar route, which has not gotten as much attention on ANet: Philippine Airlines' YVR-LAS flights, which are also operated with an A340. Last month, I flew to YVR to take the flight. Here is a link to my report:

What a pity they didn't serve any San Miguel in YVR-LAS leg..... and the current owners of PR right now or PAL for most Filipinos is San Miguel 49% and Lucio Tan who also owns Asia brewery at 51%. they recently announced that they will introduce IPADs on transpac flights. a first for an Asian airline? please correct me if im wrong.
