Scheduled Aircraft Type: Boeing 737-300

14:19, I arrived the main entrance of Adelaide International Airport Qantas domestic terminal.
14:21, I joined to wait for checking-in my seat allocation and baggage, there was only one passenger before my position.
14:22, Check-in officer who is a lady normally called me and I quickly went to her counter with my suitcase and carry bag, but when I got to the counter, she was still talking with another check-in officer who sat next to her. Almost a minute later, she started to process my check-in require, but no apologize or explanation about the waiting I had.
14:25, I made my own way to the security checks based in the middle of Qantas domestic check-in area and ex-Ansett domestic check-in counters and the security checks are jointly used by all carriers who operate domestic flights in Adelaide. When I got to the security checks, I simply got my money-pocket, mobile phone and some coins out of my clothes, but I totally forgot to get my lap-top out of my carry bag and there was no notice issued by the airport authority. After I passed security checks, a security guard requested me to get my lap-top out of my carry bag and retest. Then, everything was going well, I successfully passed through security checks.
15:36, Qantas customer service officer made an announcement about the flight I will take on and it was the first announcement about flight QF486 on 6 July, 2002. In the announcement, the new approximated flight boarding time changed to 15:41 (the original scheduled boarding time was 15:40).
15:48, another announcement about the flight QF486 had been publicly established and it was the first and as well as final boarding call of flight QF486 plus some carry baggage and mobile phone regulations, but no apologize or explanation for being late to open the boarding gate.
15:52, I finely got to the front gate of the Boeing 737-300 jetliner of the flight QF486.
15:57, I seated on my seat of the flight and have been fasten my seat belt. Although it is not a brand new airliner, but the inflight condition was very fine and tidy.
16:02, all passengers have been boarded the flight and a welcome announcement had made by the flight’s cabin service manager. At the same time, other crewmembers began the final safety checks before taxi and take-off.
16:05, taxi began.
16:07, safety instruction television program played and crews were showing uses of some relief equipments as well.
16:12, the flight of QF486 did successfully take-off.
16:19, the seat belt signal switched off and cabin service manager made another announcement to ask all passengers do not use elec-devices since then in the next 10 minutes and she also announced the services will be offered during the flight.
16:20, cabin service manager found that she made a mistake in the last service announcement and made a correction and introduced some more information about the flight’s onboard services, but she could not announce these things continually, she has stopped three times during this announcement.
16:23, the flight captain made an announcement which included flight path, general flight information and approximated arrival time.
16:28, crews started to serve passengers refreshments and free soft drinks as well. However, no hot drinks (e.g. coffee and tea etc) were available on the flight and wine or beef have to be purchased by passengers who were in economy class. In the refreshment box, there were only a 110ml Summit spring water, a small pack of nut & rice-cracker mix, a few breadsticks and an unit of spicy tomato salsa. On the whole, I personally think that the refreshments were presented poorly and no way to enjoy these items, the only enjoyable thing was my diet coke. By the way, coffee and tea should be served, otherwise Qantas will make a lot of passengers unhappy. Many passengers thought that absolutely unacceptable about it.
16:31, a boy who sat in 9A required service via calling button, but it took 10 minutes for a crew to feedback him.
16:44, crewmembers began their collection of refreshment boxes and soft drink packages.
16:55, cabin service manager announced that the flight has been entered Melbourne area and elec-devices should be turned off since then.
16:56, the flight’s captain announcement, incl. flight details, Melbourne’s weather condition etc.
16:59, captain’s announcement – crews prepare for landing.
17:00, cabin service manager’s announcement to ask passengers prepare for landing and crew members start the final preparation for landing.
17:01, inflight main lights reopened.
17:04, cabin service manager’s final announcement before landing.
17:06, the aircraft successfully landed at Melbourne International Airport.
17:14, passengers started to leave the jetliner.
17:16, I left the aircraft and cabin service manager did say good-bye to me and I replied.
17:19, arrived the baggage collection area for my flight.
17:44, my baggage was one of the very first bags appeared and I found that Qantas ground staff took almost 25 minutes to get our checked luggage was a little bit unreasonable.
17:46, got on a taxi and the flight report has now been finalized.

Madmax & Mr AirNZ, thanks for telling me that your opinions, I know it's not a good trip report, but I could not make it interesting, because that was the most boring flight I've ever been and it was also a big disappointment from Qantas.
