Looking forward to a new and hopefully sunny day.
New and hopefully sunny?. Oh yes, it is!
This is Hotel San
The fare B&B is 53.00 Euro´s, sure ok here.
Ready for breakfast now?
Small, but everything what I need on offer
The hotel´s beach
Let´s go for another view to Porto Montenegro.
Puro Beach, isn´t it Ibiza, really?
This is a former military area, nowadays rebuilt as one of the supreme yachting harbours around the med and on the other hand side used as a museum.
By sub anyone?
Palms, yachts and blue sky
Really well done here
Ships from all nations around
All nations?.
Well the majority looks like Russian owned
"Jadran" in daylight
The old town
Seaside view
And some more of these tiny ships on the way
Ok, bye now for hotel San, the owner and the staff,
sure a nice place to stay in Tivat.
And heading for the airport, the same way like yesterday, of course.
Russia, Serbia, Ukraine and the one and only western destination with Copenhagen on the arrivals screen
And where should I go today?

Service YM 820 operated by Montenegro Airlines
Scheduled: 12.10 // 14.55
Flowers for Tivat
Tower and terminal view
How to close the airport entrance Montenegro style
Delay for Yamal and also my plane inbound from BEG
The fare is again 80.00 Euro´s, secured by Flugladen.de. This is the return leg from yesterday´s BEG-TIV.
Check-in here, but not for me.
Done, thanx to the nice guy on duty, yesterday in BEG
Let´s go airside now, close to no time to wait.
The russians are through and the Montenegro pax are somewhere else!.
Apron view
Something special, at least from my point of view
Well, the scheduled F100 for me, please
Turning around
4O-AOT it is now
Yes, new to the log, leg no. 33 on type
And Yamal is running further late
Fire fighters needed?
The small gate area, 2 for CPH, no lounge here
Sun, cactus and the plane
Well, the russians doing good biz by the duty free shop
Sure interesting with two flights only to play, who from the pax here is heading for Russia or to Copenhagen.
Well, I´ve failed miserably. I´am sure there are much more scandinavian looking people around for CPH. But in the end most of the pax boarded for Yamal and not that much are still at the gate for CPH.
Both movements side by side
In the air since 09.04.1992 with Aviacsa, Transwede, TAM and Montenegro Airlines.
The latest supplement around the five in the fleet
Boarding now
Fokker wing view
12.10 am, ontime, 2.00 hours, 35 minutes to go for "Montair" now.
36 degrees, sunny, clear sky, love it.
This plane is really well used to say the least
8F and three seats for me here.
A tough decision around boarding.
A good looking young woman in 6B. 6A is originally assigned for me, but comfort win´s, with three open seats in row 8!.
I´ve asked at the airport for a seat change, more in the back of the plane. Ok, originally I want to know about the load. But the desk lady in her sixties has definitely no knowledge about the new times after the lift of the iron curtain.
Njet, no seat change possible.
Njet, no load info.
Njet, to go any extra mile here.
But who knows, she is maybe especially trained to handle the huge number of russian pax!.
Cockpit crew is from Montenegro, the pilot with a nice and detailed information inflight.
Routing is BUD-VIE-PRG at maximum 35000 feet.
But anyway I like to count another F100
Cabin crew is one middle aged biz friendly male, one elder female with the same impression and one young and nice woman.
There is also a middle aged security guy on the plane with exactly the style what you wait for with an security guy!.
Cabin view with the dark grey leather seats
Backtracking and turning for departure
On the way we go from runway "Three-Two" like arrivals yesterday
Definitely, some mountains around
Turning
Above the Bay of Kotor
I like this view
Some beaches down there
"Bezbjednost u avionu", sure I know!
Legroom is good here
The Fokker wing view
Oldfashioned cabin paneel
A last view for Montenegro
Sheepy clouds on the way
Service by Montenegro Airlines, long haul!
Cabin view from the rear galley.
The load is 70%, a couple of danish vacationeers and the others mostly VFR traffic
Duties done and I´am sure you know what follows.
My terribly exciting Montenegro travel book shows me the way into dreamland and I´am back again with this somewhat well known view very close to CPH
The bridge to nowhere
Traffic under the bridge
Touchdown at the 3300 meters 22L, 2.55 pm, ontime. 18 partly cloudy degrees here. Now that´s a difference.
Bye now for 4O-AOT, great to meet you today
Two more legs to go with these reliable company from the Netherlands. No question, I´am sure everything goes well!.
Service KL 1132 operated by KLM
Scheduled: 17.55 // 19.25
I´am sure everything goes well.
Or not?.
OLCI doesn´t work and with my latest experience by Blue 1 just a couple of weeks ago, it feel´s not that really good when I´ve left the gate area heading to check-in manually for the next leg.
There are self service kiosks here with finally this information:
Should I laugh or cry?.
Should I hope for an upgrade at the gate or should I wait for the last crappy eco middle seat just to fly on this service?.
There is also a ticket counter for AF/KL here
just behind the kiosks.
Well, my way to go now.
A nice middle aged male agent on duty.
"Hello, I´am on standby for the next flight.
Any idea, what happens?".
"Standby, please show me your boarding pass".
Typing and more typing, phone calls.
"There is a remark in you´re booking, but you´re ok now. Where do you want to sit?".
Boarding pass in hand and some seconds later on the way for the Novia lounge.
"Thank you".
50.00 Euro´s is the fare here, fixed by Govolo.com.
These are the return legs from STR-AMS-CPH in June.
The special security line worked well this way, no time to wait
Workstations
Bread for me, please
Apron lounge view
A couple of delays on the screen
But thankfully not KL for AMS from gate A22
Ah, my plane is coming in
Heading for the parking stand now
This is PH-BXY, the more or less scheduled 737-800
Another near miss for the -900 today
Leg no. 65 on type and a new example for the log
"Grebe/Fuut" is in the air with KL since 06.02.2008
A long, long queue at the gate.
Impressive how much pax fit in such a 737-800 plane.
Well, make the best of it, isn´t it?.
A couple of young women behind me in the queue
and soon we had a nice chat together, especially when they talked about AMS airport, where one of them works.
There are 21 -800 series planes in the fleet
6.00 pm, short after schedule, 1.00 hour, 05 minutes for "KLM" now.
Departure from the 3600 meters "Two-Two-Right". 18 degrees and partly cloudy.
The safety card
The fully cabin with the dark blue, clean so far, fabric seats. Me in 27F, all three seats are taken.
A 100% load, no open seat to spot.
Well mixed biz and vacationeers here
Cabin crew is three women, two middle aged, one elder, all together nice.
And two male FA´s, the middle aged purser with a very nice welcome at the planes door earlier and another also middle aged nice FA.
The crew in a good mood here.
But well, the legroom is missing
Holland Herald´s actual issue
Cockpit crew is from the Netherlands, the captain with very nice and detailed infos inflight in a relaxed style. No route info, but flightlevel is 26000 feet.
Cruising
Service together with free drinks
We´re done an, so it feels like, neverending approach through terrible thick clouds. How I dislike it, to have no views. Finally for the 2014 meters runway "Two-Two". 7.20 pm on the ground, short ahead to schedule, heavy rain and 15 degrees only.
Well, back at AMS in the end.
A quick pit stop at KL´s Crown Lounge should be possible after all!.
Monday, 16.07.2012
.
.
.
.
Service KL 1879 operated by KLM
Scheduled: 20.55 // 22.10
Ah, yes, the Crown Lounge it is
To my surprise less frequented this evening
But anyway nice offers here
The fare is 50.00 Euro´s, powered by Govolo, also for this leg.
Well, let´s go for STR from B20
Really, really bad weather here.
Not my day with an apron boarding position
This is PH-EZN, the scheduled Embraer 190 so far.
New to the log and leg no. 14 on type.
In the air with KLM Cityhopper since 12.03.2010.
There are 22 examples in the fleet actually
The fare for these shot is some wet clothes, but sure worth it!
9.00 pm, close to ontime, 55 minutes on "City" for STR.
15 degrees and heavy rain here.
Departure from the 3400 meters "One-Eight-Left".
Cockpit crew is from the Netherlands. The captain with a nice and detailed welcome after boarding is completed.
Heavy traffic and bad weather, the reason for some more minutes to wait for us.
The FO is later on the mike with nice and detailed infos during approach.
No route info, but flightlevel is 33000 feet.
Cabin view with the dark grey, clean so far leather seats
Cabin crew is two female FA´s. One middle aged, one elder, both ok, but nothing special.
Legroom is good here. The load is close to 100%.
But you know, late boarding, I´am the last passenger and 9 A/B is open for me.
A mixed bag of suits and vacationeers on the way here
And the safety card
Much better here above the clouds
I like this wing view
Service together with free drinks
Nightly approach for STR
Close to touchdown
And arrived at "Two-Five", 10.05 pm, short ahead to schedule, 17 degres and warm welcomed clear sky here.
Well, the car is where it should be and some minutes thereafter I´am back at the homebase.
Conclusions anyone?:
Montenegro Airlines TIV-CPH: Oldish plane, supercalm flight.
KLM CPH-AMS: Ok in the end with the fully load.
KLM Cityhopper AMS-STR: Short and comfy late evening service.
Just a week to go now and heading for something new in Germany.
A new departure airport at the Baltic coast and the, during the time of the ride, one and only scheduled
long haul train service running in direct competition with the almighty Deutsche Bahn.
Coming up soon here, I promise, if nothing goes wrong!.

Hello Markus,
Another good report as usual. Like your destination pcitures of Tivat, looks like a very nice place. Once again not that impressed with Montenegro airlines, that plane looks old and filthy! Looks like you had 2 nice flights with KLM, as usual!

Hello Markus
Great trip report, thanks for sharing it with us.
The F100 has had it's best days but still looks quite ok
Too bad about the standby story, glad you made it to STR after all

Hi Markus,
This nice report flow of yours is really endless! Good to see another nice one here one the board.
Another interesting flight on Montenegro Airlines and a good variety with the F100 that morning. The takeoff from Tivat seems equally nice as the landing the day before. KLM did it's best as well to be nice and consistent, although I'm a bit surprised with the low legroom on the B738.
Quoting FLIEGER67 (Thread starter): A good looking young woman in 6B. 6A is originally assigned for me, but comfort win´s, with three open seats in row 8!
Quoting debonair (Reply 7):
Oh no, please! The original Puro Beach is in Mallorca, not Ibiza...
I really do miss their logo-jet - but that's another story!
Hey, that´s perfectly good to know and I´am not that really wrong the islands.

Thanks for the nice conclusion to your adventure in Tivat !
Airport looks nice but small and the area is just beautiful!
Thank you and sure the case here.
Quoting The777Man (Reply 8):
Flights look nice but the legroom on the KL flight is really bad! Even the flight on KL Cityhopper looks better legroom wise.
Also my impression, you know.

My guess is that Tivat is a holiday destination for the rich and Russian?
Quoting FLIEGER67 (Thread starter): A good looking young woman in 6B. 6A is originally assigned for me, but comfort win´s, with three open seats in row 8!.
You do surprise me
By the way, is it normal to have a jumpseat in the main cabin on the F100? I don’t ever recall having seen that on Helvetic, although come to think of it I've never sat that far back.
Quoting FLIEGER67 (Reply 1): There are self service kiosks here with finally this information:
Glad KL were able to sort that out without any trouble. I particularly like the sentence: Boarding um 1715 am Flugsteig unbekannt.
Quoting FLIEGER67 (Thread starter): The fare for these shot is some wet clothes, but sure worth it!
I thought you didn’t like rain?!
Those packets of biscuits you got on KL are quite cute. I see they’re described as tea biscuits
Happy flying

Hi Markus,
good to follow your return trip from Tivat there, again on a nice and almost direct route
Nice pictures of Tivat and the surrounding area, looks really nice. Maybe I should put it on my to-travel-list as well.
Great to catch another Fokker 100. And service looked quite good as well. KLM again with two short and solid flights, just as one would expect from them, seems like they have new packages for their snacks, looks nice.

Thank you.

Exactly, but a bit more "hot" should be nice also this time!.

Buying up all the Swiss Lindt chocolate, judging by the poster.
Definitely.

Tivat looks like a nice little town, and after the stunning approach also a stunning departure.
