Hi,
I recently flew to GIB in CE from T3. There are so many reports on CE so I am not going to bother about the actual flight, but I thought it was worth publishing a combined lounge report. I turned up a full 3 hours before my flight so that I could experience the 3 OW F lounges, plus the No 1 Lounge and Spa which is available to Priority Pass members.
The lounges I went into were:
No 1 Lounge and Spa
AA First Class Flagship
CX First Class
BA Galleries First
All photos were taken using my iPhone, so some are not great quality.
No 1 Lounge & Spa
I must admit, I actually really liked this lounge for its design and style. It is quite funky. Not everything was free though, you have to pay if you want a premium cocktail or Champagne. The Spa is an additional cost too. That said, a pleasant lounge.
AA First Class Flagship Lounge
Having been in a number of US carriers' lounges, I wasn't expecting much from this lounge and it lived up to my expectations! It is a very bland lounge and it was very busy! It was so busy that I was a bit embarrassed taking lots of photos, so there are only a few. For any Gold card holders flying from T3 I would skip this lounge.
CX First Class Lounge
I actually really liked this lounge. It is well laid out. There were only 4 other passengers there when I arrived (about 09:30am). The breakfast was good too.
BA Galleries First
I must admit, this was my favourite out of the 4 lounges. Aesthetically, it's on par with the CX Lounge, but the food, alcohol and the layout of the lounge are significantly better.

Nice pics. I did the same lounge hop sans No 1 lounge ages ago . I actually prefer the T3 BA F lounge to the T5 one. Its more personal IMHO.
Do you have any up to date details and pics of the F lounge at LGW? I know the food options are limited but what do they offer from the menu to order for breakfast?
Many thanks
Philip

Hi Philip, I hope you're well!
No, I'm not brave enough to go to LGW, I thought I was doing well going to T3! LOL - how times have changed from my 'nothin! I'm flying to MRS next month which is from T1. It'll be very interesting being back in the 'London Lounge' - not been in since bmi days.

I was sitting in the T3 GF lounge pondering which one I prefer! I'm on the fence actually. I prefer the openness of T5 and T5 itself, but the T3 one felt more private. I was there in the morning which is when it's empty too. By the evening, it is packed I understand, so that might have made a difference!
