When I was going to Tehran I went through Rome. FCO-IKA. I mostly got pix from the Toronto to Rome leg as I had a 14 hour layover in FCO and I went for a short trip with Easy Jet to Milan as I had already been to Rome before. Therefore when I got back to FCO it was 7 PM and my flight to Tehran was at 9 and as I was so tired I did not take any pix from the other leg,
I was so impressed with the new Alitalia cabin, the economy seats were very comfortable with a good leg room and it was a very pleasant and nice flight. I let the pix do the rest of talking. Enjoy

What a lovely surprise, I looked outside of the window and noticed that we are flying right above Geneva, I was so glad that I could see the whole metropolitan area of the city and capture it all in one shot
Shortly after we flew right pass Milan and the whole city came to view

Yes it does randomly go away because the website only gives you a certain time to edit your post after you post it.
But if you want to edit you could just make the changes in the comment boxes and I am people would read them.

Looks al italia has been foing well on this route!
And I too love the A333.. it s my all time favourite.

Nice trip report Omid! My parents flew AZ to/from FCO for a Mediterranean cruise back in 2011. At that time they were operating the B767-300 out of T1. The whole car ride home from YYZ (30 minutes) my dad was ranting about how lousy their experience was on Alitalia. Apparently both planes were filthy, the food was half-frozen, and the FAs were completely disinterested in serving the passengers. It's nice to see the A330s are better but my parents still would never set foot on AZ again.
Supported the beer and soda can industry, recycle old airplanes!

Good tripreport, AZ sure have a nice onboard product offering and I agree on the seats. Comfortable, good legroom and mostly good crews too. I flew the A332 only in their C-class seat, but the 777 is similar (but bigger IFE boxes).

Alitalia are one of the few European and US airlines that still serve a proper starter and a proper desert in economy. Also one of the few that still offer 32" legroom.

Yes, I had flown with their 767 before too, it was very bad but the new cabin design is very nice and comfortable

Thank you, yes it was an option on the flight but since it was at night I did not take any pix from it, it has built in front cameras that are fun to watch during landing and take off
