I had a very pleasant experience wih Swiss business all the way. On time, clean cabin, friendly service and the best food I have had so far on swiss: I think they have improved substantially !
As main dish: Chicken breast in mushroom creamy sauce over tagliatelle for the short flight, most tender filet mignon fof beed in cognac sauce for the long flight. To die for was the "Balik salmon tartare with wasabi cream" by star chef of Hotel Fischerzunft Schaffhausen: UN-BE-LIE-VABLE ! On both flights I took the swiss red wine from Valais...So unique taste
As always on the Bangkok direction: top speed of 1'100 km/h.
I had no turbulences at all this time, very quiet ride. Good selection of movies (although the screen definition quality is not up-to-date), nice Valmont hydrating fluid and hand cream in the lavatories. The only critique I would have is that 2 lavatories are not enough for about 50 px in business ! Look forward to the next gen- long-haul (maybe 748 ) with more bathrooms please per passenger.
Also to notice: I sat in row 9 on the outbound: I had quite a lot of vibration noise of upper cabinets and hydraulics (flaps) on take off... On the return, I was lucky to get row 5 (the compartment bewtween first and main business): it was so quiet there ! The best place in business...
Quite impressive and beautifully done is the new arrival lounge in Zurich, Terminal B: modern, bright with wood and white walls, you receive your private card with access to your own bathroom suite for changing clothes and taking shower after the long flight: top sap quality products (shower gel, shampoo and body lotion). Well done , swiss ! Every bathroom as a different name, following swiss' long haul destinations: Dubai, New York, Bangkok etc.
I paid 2'450.00 Euros for a return ticket from Lisbon: this was the cheapest on the market (all others starting 3'300.00 Euros up to 6'000+). I can only recommend to fly swiss: it is also a true pleasure to connect in the big, calm and modern Zurich airport: love to stop at Spruengli to buy the tasty chocolates

Hi dtswi,

Ah, the famous "Stübli".
I also enjoyed the product a lot. Here are my reports:
Thank you Pradat
Yes, for me, together with TAP, they are the best at the moment. It is not only quality of service and food on board, but above all maintenance & pilot training. For ex., I will never fly AF, Emirates or Turkish , as there are too many precedents with pilot training issues. And this is objective.
