Here is my poor attempt at a trip report. I'll keep it short.

BOS-LHR #212
747-400
Departed on-time. The flight was full and my wife and I were stuck in 43D-E (she didn't want to fly WT Plus for some reason-she had the aisle of course). The seats were nice, plenty of choices on the TV. Dinner was a choice between steak and chicken (I had the chicken), both were good for airline food. I always fly BA even if the US carriers are cheaper and I have to say I have yet to have a bad flight. The cabin crew were professional and polite as is what I expect from BA. We landed on-time and clearing customs was simple.

After my wife spent 3 hours shopping at the duty free shops, we finally boarded. Departed on time. Seated in 45D-E. Not much difference between the 2 flights so I won't retype. Again, great flight and crew. (except for an older gent in front of me who had his seat back the entire time...will fly WT Plus for sure next time). The flights were not long enough and as usual, BA did a fine job.

Cmk10, thanks for the vote of confidence! But seriously, I'm home from work so I can add a bit more. Boston's terminal is quite awful when compared with Heathrow's. I would like to see a few more places to eat and shop. Trying to kill a few hours there is like pulling teeth. Too bad BOS does not have a lot of places to plane spot. I can not remember the place at LHR (some coffee shop), but it was a great place to shoot some pictures. Not sure what else to write, but suffice to say BA provided a good product.

Too bad about Logan these days. USed to be that one could spend time on the 16th floor of the tower building, one of the best plane-spotting places in the world.
