Hi all,
Wasn't prepare to post my one here but Mirrodie gave me some inspiration.
Here is my trip report. Sorry but you have to click on the links to go to my site to see it. Your comments is welcomed and if the site is down or pics won't load, then I guess it is over the site usage limit and will come back in one day time.

This was a very emotional trip report to read, it was excellent thank-you. I am now extremely depressed that I will never fly the Concorde, I dreamed that one day I would be able to afford the fare.
The photos were great, and I liked the comment "you are welcome to visit the flightdeck afterwards", so great.
Also good to see the happy crew, as ever British Airways are enjoyable airline to fly, I try to fly them as much as possible, I am flying them to Cairo Egypt in June.

Very nice report, great pics (well done also for Matt for that great pic).
I, and all my workmates at BA Concorde face an uncertain future, but I can honestly say we get real pleasure from people enjoying the aircraft, as the crews clearly do.
You did not miss any boom, pax don't hear it.
I'm glad you realized your dream and hope as many air net members as possible get the chance also.

Thanks guys, I chose to share the report and I know many of you would be benefited from reading of the unique experience. Too bad the economical factors prohibits Concorde ticket price to come more realistic.
The PAX count is 54 / 100.

Thanks for the report Sam. I know I'll never have the chance to fly the concorde, but reading your report and viewing those excellent pictures sort of fulfilled 50% of my desire to fly on that bird Any pictures of the rest of your meal?

Good job Sam, I put your website on my favorite's list.
I can really appreciate your enthusiasm for aviation (as most on these boards), being born in NYC and living there and here in NJ all my life I've seen the Concorde on many occasions. Whether it was visiting JFK, IAD (when they flew there) or at the Jersey shore when one would fly over (real low!) I always was excited to see the Concorde.
Right now economically unless I win the lottery the Concorde is out of my price range, hopefully it will fly again or perhaps a Next generation Concorde can be developed so one day more folks (including myself) can get to share the joy of flying Concorde.

Fantastic!
I'm on the old bird in August, but going the other way on 001. You've given me a lot of great ideas of how to capture memories when it's finanlly my turn, thankyou!
Maybe airliners.net can start a special membership for those who have travelled supersonic?

Please let me win the lottery before October...

I know how you feel guys. I tried to play the Nenana Ice Classic "Alaska Lottery" where you guess when the ice breaks in order to win the big money. You guess the day, hour, and minute. I missed it by less than 24 hours
My wife asked if I was sad that we could not pay off the mortgage. My first comments were, "No Concorde now."

Thanks guys and thanks BA777. The only bit of info I missed is the gate arrivals, so thanks for picking it up. I would love to go on another Concorde, and for those haven't done one and if financial status permitted, I urge you to give a shot. BA is selling US$3999 one way Concorde crossing and one way Economy back JFK-LHR. (I scored a deal at $2900 during the first week of offers)
Because I think in the upcoming 10 yrs or 20 yrs, it is unlikely a Mach2.0 plane ever grace the sky as commercial pax transporter again. This may be the unique chance.

Sam
A very good trip report indeed, Well Done.
After reading your report, I also read through the comments that visitors to your site have posted, and I hope you will not mind me commenting on one or two points that were mentioned.
Firstly, the Marilake displays in the Cabin are nothing like as accurate as the flight deck instrumentation. If you only saw a maximum altitude of 56,500 ft and MB wrote 58,000 ft on your log, I would be very much inclined to believe MB.
Just to illustrate this point, your photos show the displays reading M1.0 at 27,000 ft and M2.0 at 48,500 ft, neither of which can be correct as the aircraft would be outside its flight envelope. 28,500 ft would be the lowest the aircraft could expect to achieve M1.0, with 50,000 ft the lowest for M2.0.
It seems a reasonable bet that the cabin displays were under-reading by a couple of thousand feet on your trip, which is not untypical.
Secondly, the 13R departure you experienced is a very rare event at JFK, in my view much rarer than David Kaufman suggests in his comments.
Thirdly, whilst there is a lot going on aerodynamically during the transition to supersonic flight, there is no buffeting or boom noticeable in the cabin, and very little in the way of pitch change. The aircraft auto-stabilisation devices work extremely effectively at damping out all these effects.
If you were engrossed in reading a book, the only clue that you would detect that you were about to go supersonic would be two nudges in the back of your seat as the re-heats come on.
The only clue that you had gone supersonic would be the camera flashes going off as the Marilake displays show M1.0, and first-timers start taking photos!
Fourthly, Gate 6 is (now) the standard gate for Concorde at JFK.
Fifthly, when Peter Schneider talks about flying to DFW at 48,000 ft and M0.95, with all due respect, I think time must be playing tricks with his memory.
M0.95 is much too slow at that altitude, and way outside Concorde's authorised flight envelope. She would have to be supersonic at that altitude.
FL410 is Concorde's maximum subsonic altitude, and I would suggest that FL310/350/370 would be much more likely cruising levels at M0.95 on that route.
Lastly, I hope you don't fly on Concorde with Adele again soon, as she is most definitely NOT impressed with your choice of best looking FA!
To finish, I noticed that your BA Concorde Flight Certificate had not been filled in, nor signed by the crew - in fact it had already been signed by another Concorde Captain.
In view of the effort you have put into your trip report, this seems a shame, and so if you care to e-mail me with a postal address where you can collect mail, I will try to get a correctly completed and signed certificate to you.
If you should decide that you do not wish to divulge an address to someone you've never met, I will quite understand, and will not be offended in any way.

Yeah, C'mon Sam. ANITA is the most attractive FA at FL580!
