Here are my first two trip reports that take place in this Christmas, please enjoy it!

Dec 23, 2000
AA2071, 6:50am

That morning, we arrive at LGA pretty early, around 5:30, although we live close to the airport, we almost miss the flight, there are hundred of people waiting for 4 counters at AA, around 6:30, we still in the line, not moving a lot, a AA crew call for our flight, obviously, we check-in and rush to the D10 gate, the farthest gate at the AA terminal.
This flight was operated by a Fokker 100, luckily, we are the final passengers board on the flight, and the plane was about 95% full. The plane departed around 7:15am and use Runway 31, we climb to FL310 and the skies were clear all the way, New York was pretty beautiful! Later, the F/A start to distribute the breakfast, you have a choice, cereal or omelet, I chose the second one, it was pretty nice, a hot egg with two fruits(I don’t remember, but not orange), a hot bread with melted butter, and a drink, the F-100 was pretty unstable, you could feel the plane was shaking. Around 8:15, we started our descend over the skies of Buffalo, you could see the whole Lake Ontario. Without a procedure turn, the plane turned a left turn for YYZ Runway 24L approach, the landing was smooth and the airport doesn’t have much traffic yet, we slowly taxi though Runway 33R and parked at gate B11, next to an Air Transat L-1011. Of course, I took a nice picture of the flight deck, sadly, I didn’t turn of the date, can’t upload it!

Dec 26, 2000
AA1101, 6:30pm scheduled, delayed to 7:45

This time, the previous flight was canceled, so we have to delayed to 7:45pm, again, we waited at the crowded check-in area for 45min, while we thought we are late again, the Flight Information Screen flashing our flight is delayed, that’s a good news for us, because if the flight didn’t delay, we must late for the flight! Anyway, the skies were dark, and there are quite a lot of action at YYZ, around 7:05, after the flight to Miami, our F-100 was towed to gate, there were no passengers in that plane. The boarding was pretty fast, we seat at row 20, which is the last row of 3 seats configuration, it was next to the huge engine, if I seat at row 19, I could see the Engine blades! As we taxi to Rwy 24R, the pilot told us we had to wait for 10mins for the other traffic, but actually, we waited 30mins! There are 1 BA 777, 2 AC 767-200, 1 AC CRJ, 1 ASA CRJ, 2 AC A320, 1 AC 737-200 and 1 Canjet 737-200, I almost drop dead!  OK, the plane finally took of at 8:30, 1 hour from boarding, the engine was extremely noisy, I couldn’t hear anything even my parents next to me! The plane climbed to FL330, and F/A start to give out the snacks, it consist 1 Lay’s potato chips, 1 baked bread with chicken inside(?), one cookie and one can of coke, it was pretty good while we were hungry for 8 hours. Due to the bad weather, the Flight was via Rochester and Albany then to New York. As we descend to 7000 ft, The Westchester County Airport was in sight, and the lights was really beautiful, I told you before, this flight was unstable, we used LDA-22 approach, which is visual App, the plane keep increasing its speed, and decreasing, climbing and descending, just like riding a Roller Coaster, with cross win about 20kts, we finally (shake) to the ground, and the plane just slowly taxi to the gate. While I got off the plane, I asked the pilot to let me take a picture in the cockpit, and he ask me if I want to take a picture with him with his hat on my head, that was a SURPISE!:D And I love American Airlines!

This is my feelings to the service: (five is the best)
1.) F/A service---4
2.) Food----------5
3.) Flight---------3(too much shaking)
4.) Check-in-----2(too long)

And this is what I got from AA:
1.) 2 safety cards
2.) 1 spoon
3.) 1 coffee mixer
4.) 1 in-flight magazine

If you want to give any suggestions, or improvements, please drop a reply, Thanks!

How to get a safety card?

The safety card I got in each aircraft says "Do not remove from the airplane".

Yeah, A380 most of them say that. What you simply do is ignore that comment and take a few cards anyway.

Actually, the only safety cards that I have seen without "Please do not remove from aircraft" on them are the newest Air Canada ones.

Well, my way is pretty special and secret...

First, you take out a magazine that you bring it, let's say newsweek, then, you take out the safety card and put it on the bottom of the magazine and bring them together in the bag.

Secret & Perfect!

My secret is just taking them when the F/A's aren't there or looking, and when the other pax look occupied(meal time is a good time to do it, when the F/A's are done serving)

Give me a break, I created this username when I was a kid...

Anyway, I just take the safetycard out of the pocket when I pretend to take all of the stuff out of the seatpocket with the safetycard. The best time to take a safetycard is when you're getting of.
