I'll be travelling on C3 very soon on a long-range flight.

I bet I'll get A320 and A330 for sure.

I paid for everything already; but I still want to learn what is your experience on C3, if any; like seat pitch, service etc.

I flew on them from YVR-HAM with stops in YYC and SXF, and a stop in YYC on the way back. I personally thought the flight itself was great... then again, it was the last flight of the season, so the plane was not very full. The seating was 2x4x2, and I had a whole aisle to myself. As I am not a tall person, the seat pitch was not that bad, but if you're over 5'10, it becomes a little cramped. The service was good, not "above and beyond", but reasonable for the price you pay. Paying under $400US including taxes to cross the pond is VERY cheap.
Our deboarding in HAM was a little disorganized, and could've gone much smoother, but this was the only flaw that I could see. I would fly them again. It was nice to receive a little "thank-you" card, which was waiting for me as I returned; just seemed like a nice final gesture, something other airlines have yet to do.

"Some friends of mine flew YVR-HNL-YVR on Canada 3000 (CM?) and Air Transat (TS) earlier this month. Just a short (secondhand) trip report to let you know what to expect:
TS YVR-HNL 4 December, HNL-YVR 11 December

O.K. check in. A/c is an A-330 (possibly -200) packed in the tightest imaginable configuration: 3-3-3 abreast with seat pitch I'd imagine to be sub 30", and fairly packed. Single choice of pasta entree is served for dinner. Not all seats have blankets and pillows and there are no spares. Cabin temp was set low and quite cold in the cabin on the way out, comfortable ont he way back. Head phones are sold (you get to kepp them) although it seems you can plug in regular portable audio jacks. This is a no-frills airline so special meals are charged C$10 and checked baggage allowance is 20kg/44lbs. Fare of C$360 (USD$240) isn't too bad compared to scheduled airlines (I paid C$650 for QF). A special Club Transat section up front is sold at check-in for C$75 each way. Configuration is 2-3-2 (2-2-2 front row) with 38" or so pitch. Free alcoholic beverages served as part of the deal.

Flight was on time both ways.

Also operated by an A-330 (-300). Configuration is slightly less tight widthwise (standard A-300/10/30/40) though seat pitch is still tight. Outbound flight was delayed departing YVR by 2 hrs due to computer problems. Since flight goes on to S. Pacific, INS/Customs clearance at HNL is required. Most pax going on the S. Pacific milk run (Roratonga, AKL and SYD)

Return flight features and an even worse delay. At check-in at 2100 the night before, delayed departure estimated at 0500 (flight scheduled to leave 0030). Delay (computer problems again) extends to 0700 departure as the a/c didn't get into HNL until 0530 (mainly holidaying Canadians lose the better of a paid night for hotels). 800-number for information isn't available as CM's reservaton centre is closed for the night. Airline offers pax $10 coupon at HNL cafe (doesn't buy much; not that much is available at HNL at night). Breakfast is served immediately after takeoff. Flight arrives YVR at 1355 (scheduled 0800).

Canada 3000 is also a charter airline that is trying to become scheduled on CP's acquisition by AC. It's essentially no-frills too with 20kg/44lbs checked allowance (HNL check-in allowed 10kg overweight luggage to pass but otherwise could have charged $50). Fare (high season) higher than my QF fare.

Not the flight from hell but not a travel experience I'd look forward to."

I haven't heard flying colors about it, but the A330 remark about 3-3-3 seating is wrong. Check their winter timetable. They have an ad on the inside front cover boasting how they have 2-4-2, unlike other high-density airlines.

Like A380, I've already paid for my trip to Cuba this March with C3. I'm sure to get an A320 for the flight to Varadero, and my travel agent already flown several times with them. From her point-of-view, it is the best Canadian charter airline for the service on board and the legroom offered on long-haul flights. Hope she's right.

Canada 3000 A330 is great. Very good value. The seating is 2-4-2. Airline is very relaible and inexpensive. Serivice is not the best but on the plus side. Ask for an amergency seat---more leg room.

On the other hand A320 is small with limited leg room. (186 seats)
C3 B757's are also packed (226 seats).

Sorry to reply to K-man but it seems that the reply was wrong because C3 seets only 174 people in it's A320. Anyways, the max pax for the A320 is 180 so it's impossible to seat 186 pax! For the proof of this info, check out Canada 3000 web site at http://www.canada3000.ca, then click on company info, fleet and A320 seating plan.
