On A Charted Flight From O'Hare International Airport to Malaga, Spain, my family and I flew on an Air Plus Comet Airbus a310. It was very cramped onboard, but the service was excellent.
The Airport In Malaga was very neat. It was fairly large, with several flights coming in and out every hour, but not as busy as O'Hare! The airport itself was outfitted with many gates and concourses, and several baggage claims.
O'Hare's international terminal is awesome. It has a bunch of artwork all over and giant windows which allow you to see your plane from the gate.
Both airports were set up nice and easy to get around.

When was this trip? I didn't realize Air Plus was doing charters out of ORD!

Excellent report! I look forward to seeing more trip reports like that.
Were you sitting in the forward cabin or aft? In the forward half, they have 2-4-2 configuation. In the back, they have 3-3-3, so that makes a difference in comfort. What about the service was excellent? Food? Friendliness? How clean was the A310?
Malaga is a very nice airport, but after being there a few times waiting for connecting flights, the "Salida numero ... blah blah blah" flight announcements every 10 seconds or so got to me!

To Answer Everybody's Questions:
SunCEO: The service was very good and fast, they fed us some kind of pasta and salad and something else i cant remember well it was a while ago.
Cactusa319- This was in 2000, i think. I think it was a special charter, because they dont usually do charters...all i know is that my parents went to see a travel agent who got a special deal.
Captiangomes-
I was sitting in the aft cabin, (which was coach) in row 15 seat J, the seating was 2-2-2 in first class (which was empty) and 3-3-3 in coach (which was packed) The service was good, fast and the crew were friendly. The food was some kind of pasta and the plane was clean when we borded and the flight announcements were very annoying but I finally got used to them!

Thanks for the update.
It's interesting to note that the seating arrangements in the A310 are 2-2-2 in business class, 3-3-3 for economy before the emergency exit row, and 2-4-2 for economy class behind the emergency exit row. 2-4-2 is considerably more comfortable.
