Hey,
YYZ-FLL
I went down to FLL onboard Air Transat flight 556 on April 10th and it was a great flight. Aircraft was the A330-200 famous Azores Glider C-GITS. Thanks to TransatGuy for placing me in a great wingview seat to take some pictures. When I was in Ft. Lauderdale, I took a tour of the flightdeck. Talked to the pilots for about 15 minutes and they told me shes a good glider. Inflight meal was a muffin with juice and a bag of pretzels. Not the best, as Air Transat use to serve better meals.

Flew from FLL on the 19th of April onboard Air Transat flight 551 with the A330-300 C-GKTS. This was a real nice flight. Seating is better with the A330-300 than the -200 as the 333 is 2-4-2 and the 332 is 3-3-3. Got a nice cold sandwich which was quite tasty with a chocolate bar and juice. Air Transat also has an a la carte menu with snacks for purchase.
Overall these were great flights, and also because it was on the A330 which is my favourite aircraft. Smooth flights both ways. Just the 333 is a bit noisy and the 332 is more quiet.

How much legroom did you have? I'll be flying EDI-YYZ with Air Transat soon. I have flown with them before. It was very cramped and the food was awful. Having said that, it is one of the cheapest was to get from the UK to North America.

Tartan,
It depends what aircraft you fly. I flew 8 hour flight on the TS A310 from YVR to PUJ about two months ago. It is not as cramped as it seems because their seats have a special pitch that make it comfortable. I'm 6'3" and I sat in the coach seats for 8 hours, as mentioned before, and it was very comfortable for economy. After the flight I didn't feel stiff or worn-out at all, which was strange for a 8 hour flight. The food is okay for a charter airline, but what do you expect.

Jutes85, it is interesting you mentioned the seats on the A310. I found the legroom to be quite poor, although the seats themselves in their upright position were already relatively reclined, and quite comfortable.
The A330 is overall a comfortable aircraft. I too have flown on Transat's A330-300, and enjoyed the flight.
