3 members of the VAP-Group http://www.vap-group.at/ are going on a photo trip to ZRH tomorrow Friday June 4th. We will be flying to ZRH on HG8150 sheduled from 07:00 - 08:15 and back with HG8253 from 21:35 - 22:50. For the trip to ZRH theres an A320 sheduled.
Surprise as we came there there was no Q and we could check in immediate. I asked the agent if it would be possible to get 3 window seats on the left hand side. He said well thats unusual but i will see. It was no problem at all and so we got Seats 4A, 5A and 6A.
So far this trip started fine. I will post more when we return back home.

As promised here is the second part.
On Friday morning we arrived at the airport at around 06:00. we tried to check in for our return flight from ZRH in the evening and it worked. Got seats 3A, B and C. So everything was settled and we went to our Gate which was a bus-gate. We where carried to the plane which was D-ALAR
Boarding was very quick and startup was at 6:58. The IFE on the Bus wasnt working properly and so the FA's had to do the safety instructions. Takeoff was at 07:07 an we reached our cruising altitude 10.300 m or 34.000 feet very quick. Take a look outside here:
so service was very quick. We had a choice between Ham-cheese sandwich and bacon egg sandwich. Non alcoholic beverages and coffee was for free. The "dessert" was was Yoghurt with apple. Prior to landing we had to do oe circle in the holding pattern because of traffic congestion. Touchdwon was at 08:13 on Rwy. 14 we taxied to our gate E62 which we reached at 08:17. A short trip with the Skylink and through customs and our photo session could start.
Gate E56, boarding 21:50 (because of late incoming aircraft) the plane was about 50 % full. Pushback was at 22:08 and we took off from Rwy 32 at 22:19. Choice of sandwich was Thuna or Prosciutto/Mozarella and dessert was Berrise with Vanilla ceme fraiche which was really yummy!!! we landed at 23:13 at Rwy 29 here in Vienna and reached our gate at the terminal at 23:20.
Al in all it was very nice to fly on Niki. I only hope that the load factors arent always this low as we experienced it.

Hi
I'm not too surprised about the low load factor. There are 4 airlines in direct competition on the VIE-ZRH run. LX, OS, Helvetic and Niki. I think that either Helvetic or Niki are going to pull out in the next few months.
