I just booked my flights from BHX to DUB for the 16th of March and 19th of March. Everything else was booked up because it's the weekend around St. Patrick's Day I guess?
The fare was GBP £107.20 (USD $154.74)---Not excellent but better than anything else I could find.
So does this airline compare to anything back home in the US? What's it like?

Ouch!!!! Thats expensive!!!! Well, atleast RyainAir are good. I went MME-DUB last September for £30 return , inc tax. GReat legroom and old 737-200 but a good flight. The worst part is the free seat allocation which leads to a kind of rugby!! Be first in the que and be prepared to run to the aircraft becasue im sure you will want a good seat.

Yes boarding Ryanair is the nearest thing to a full out riot. I've posted some trip reports in the past on Ryanair. In summary, usually (80% of the time) friendly crews, space OK, on board catering a bit expensive, generally very basic. A flying bus company.

FR are fine, flown them twice, once with the 738.
Check-in occurs in an instant, and I enjoy being able to walk on to the a/c and pick my own seat.
Mls,
it looks like you were ripped off my friend!! For Ryanair, that fare was VERY expensive, although if you stay for less than three days, they will charge you a lot more.

How does it feel to be an American in Britain??
Well every US citizen living here that I've spoken to finds it very quiet, whatever that means!

Hey Mark,
Britian has been great so far. Just got back after a couple days in Manchester, York, & Liverpool. It's different, but the people are nice. I got a bad impression of Liverpool because the cab driver told us to stay out of a certain neighborhood where the "n---ers" were (I don't like the racist stuff) and a fight broke out on the street while we were walking downtown but other than that it was fine.
I do like it, but I am also really looking forward to going home in May. There's all the little things that you don't realize can be different. I like the experience. It's great fun. When I'm older and hopefully richer I will definately come back.
Jean Luc, the Americans think it's quiet because a lot of us are loud and the British are usually more reserved.
