Time sure passed by fast when you are having fun. I went for spotting with my friends Jonathan and Raymond. (Thanks guys for showing me around in KL) Anyway, Jonathan dropped me at the airport around 1820. All of us were sun burnt and drained from our plane spotting. The biggest highlight of the day has to be the Gulf Air 50th anniversary.
I was quite amazed but disappointed not to see MH’s 777 take off and landing, there are but I was at the wrong runway. Not my luck I guess, but I managed to catch some taxi shots along with A330 and B747-400s. A few airlines like JAL(JL723), Yemenia and Emirates were delayed for at least 2-3 hours, I wonder why.
Anyway, shouldn’t bored you guys with my spotting. Took some photos of the terminal just before heading to the Gate, C16. My plane was parking beside fellow company’s 777, JA707J heading for Tokyo Narita. My flight was slightly late as we only boarded the plane at 2140. Our scheduled departure time was 2200. Anyway, it was 75% full load this time, we were served by another batch of nice and cheerful cabin crews who are most likely going home. Pushed back was quite slow, the engines were started up and we headed to the runway 14R for an immediate powerful take off to Singapore. There are quite a few Australian and British passengers on board, probably going to Osaka to connect flight or Singapore for a holiday, who knows.
We had a packet of drink , a smaller cup this time , the flight was pretty bumpy especially descending through some heavy clouds. Fortunately the turbulence subsided when approaching Changi. We landed on runway 20R. I was hoping that our gate will be at D4X so that I can see what planes are there in the central apron. I was disappointed when the plane turned into C20 gate. The planes that we passed were 2 SQ 744s, 3 772s , 3 QF 744s and 1 MU A300. Another fast flight, I wished my flight is longer , well I am considering flying again just before end of the year. I was thinking of Finnair, how’s their service ? Anyone ?

I still can't believe JAL flies this route... seems like one of those oddball routes. Am quite happy about it though since it could be my only opportunity to fly JAL on this short route since I am a Star Alliance flier.
How was service?
Its better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air than be in the air wishing you were on the ground. Fly safe!
