i have a few questions, but first thanks for the info on the A-340. how often do you get an upgrade? I have noticed that alot of people on this site talk about them like they come around everyday. also, how do you get an upgrade? the only time that people get them when i am at the airport is when they raise a big arguement about almost nothing.

Well, I get upgraded sometimes on Air France, because:
-My father is Frequence Plus Rouge (=elite plus member)
-the class in which we are is overbooked, and there are no more places so they upgrade us.
-the person checking-inn us is very nice !!!

OK the program has changed : I will fly without my father (that lowers the chances of upgrades Sad) .
I just checked on http://www.Amadeus.net , they said that biz is full and first and coach is still available. That can mean two things:
-too much pax in biz and first so they downgrade to coach and (if there are no more seats in coach) and they put off the flight some pacs in coach (probably not us, but the low fare tickets).
-too much pax in biz so they upgrade biz pax to first (and maybe if no more place also in coach they upgrade some coach pax...)
