I decided to go visit my friend in MN and used some miles. It was a fun trip, got to play in the snow, which I haven't seen in years and went to a casino where I walked out with a few extra Benjamins :=) So here's the juice as best as I can remember:

I was orgingally on 1154 which left at 749, but wanted to get in to ORD a bit earlier to eat and stretch before having to rush to my connecting flight to MSP, plus I have never been on AA's 738's to that was nice treat. It was raining so it was a 12L departure (only the second time i've done that). Taxi was very short and we were #1 for take off. Took off over downtown San Jose south then a left turn back north then a right turn east over Freemont. We were given a Gronola Bar and coffee. I forgot what the movie was, but it was with Hillary Duff and looked rather boring so I took a nap. There was only two drink services and then we started our decent to ORD. Decent seemed pretty quick and we landed RWY??? and a short taxi to K18 where my next flight was out of K11. After a potty break and grabbing some food, it was time to board 1236 into MSP.

What I first thought was odd was there were a lot of crew dead-heading on this flight, and none of them were in First. There was only one person in the first class cabin. Oh well. We took off in the opposite direction we landed up to 28000' where we had one quick drink service with pretzels and started a long decent into MSP where it was cloudy all the way in with snow. We landed on 30L and arrived at E14 on time and then went on to have a exciting fun weekend. Coming home:

Got to the airport about 330 and spent all of 5 mins in security. The flight was completley full. I watched the agent arguing with this redneck white trash woman about the seating arrangement. He was very patient with her and she kept screaming at him. In anyevent, they got it resolved and she stormed down the jetway like whe was the queen of her trailer park. In any event, after what the pilot called a "quick suirt of juice on the wings" we were off. Take off was from 30L and the pilot reporetd wx in DFW to be 83 degrees. He had to do a double check on that as he didn't believe his ops people, but it was right. We must have landed on the farthest runway because we taxied forever to C31. My flight back home as at C32 and saw the 757 already parked (it had come in from San Juan).

Take off was from 17L with a right turn shortly after take off and a easy climb to 38000. The movie was Shall we dance with J-Lo and Richard Gere. Ok movie. Was bumpy for the majority of the flight and only one drink service was made. Approach was cloudy and bumpy and landing a few minutes late on 12R. Sat in the penalty box for about 5-mins while they located the gate staff to park us. Uneventful flight.
Thanks for reading my report.
The red zone is for the immediate loading and unloading of passengers only, there is no stopping in the white zone...(Ai

Was it an ex TWA 757 or an AA 757? In case u dont knw how to tell the difference, on an AA 757, the seats are light blue with white diamonds i think on it, and the TV's are over the Aisle. the ex TWA interior has tv's over the seats and the interior seats are dark blue and much more padded.
Good things come to those who wait, better things come to those who go AFTER it!
