I went out to Ohio this past weekend for a family get togther. I flew out of HPN as it is closest to my home and the fare was cheap. Continental is the only airline that flies there direct from CLE so that was the way to go.
Embraer ERJ 145
Scheduled Depart: 605pm
Actual Depart: 605pm (wheels up 624pm)
Depart Gate 2
Scheduled Arrival: 751pm
Actual Arrival :735pm
Takeoff runway 34
landing runway 24R
Arrival gate D28
I arrived at HPN at just after 4 pm, parked in the garage and checked in using the kiosk just inside the terminal. As there are a fair amount of flights departing around this time, the security line was pretty long. I decided to not risk missing the flight, so I went right to the TSA line. The line moved quickly and I took a seat near gate 2. You never know what gate you are leaving from until the aircraft arrives at the field. The inbound CO RJ landed and we boarded. I took my seat in 10A. This route is usually flown on ERJ135s but today we were on an ERJ145 and nearly every seat was taken. We taxied out to 34 and had to wait a little for some departing and arriving aircraft. We rolled out and were on our way. As it was night, I really could not tell our exact route but I assume we basically flew over the Hudson Valley, North Pennsylvania, and NE Ohio. We did a 360 over the city of Cleveland and landed on 24R, taxied to D28, and deplaned. I took my bag off the cart and met my ride outisde.

Scheduled Arrival 530pm
Actual Arrival 610pm
takeoff runway 24L
landing runway 16
Depart gate D28
Arrive gate 2
I arrived at the airport after a nice weekend with family. I checked in at the kiosk and went through security quickly. I headed through concourse C, through the tunnel to concourse D where I took a seat near D28. A few flights were departing from here to SYR, DTW, ABE, and CLT. We boarded and I took my seat in 10A. We taxied to 24L where we were number 1 for takeoff. I saw absolutely nothing as it was overcast for almost the entire flight. The flight was quick and we landed on 16 just after 515pm. We arrived at HPN after a snowstorm had hit earlier in the day. We parked near the end of 16 along with a Commutair B1900, a United Express CRJ, and an Air Canada prop plane. A gate became available after awhile na dwe pulled up at 610pm. We parked next to a USAirways Express plane that was being deiced. I picked up my bag in the baggage claim, went to the garage, paid the $68 for parking, and headed home.
As always, good flights on Continental. It was no big deal to sit on the tarmac on HPN for me, but it caused the return flight to be delayed as well as many other flights from HPN. Some people might have missed connections. That about does it, hope you all enjoyed it.

No less than what you paid. Also they were occasionally codeshares via CO. For example I was booked on CO flight numbers but the flights were actually on NW. I think my average for those flights was about $280.00 r/t.
One time I know I flew Continental Express CLE-HPN and then returned on NW HPN-DTW-CLE on two DC-9s. That was when they forgot my luggage in HPN and I had to wait six hours for it! Luckily I was at home rather than on vacation at that point and had plenty of clothes.

I am the other way around - on vacation while in CLE. Usually whenever I go to Ohio these days, I don't check anything. I am usually there for long weekends like this time. I'll place my bag on the gateside rack and hope they don't forget it on the rack.
